National Testing Agency, released the CUET PG 2025 result on May 6, 2025 on the official website for 157 subjects. With a notable rise in attendance compared to previous years, the examination saw 654,019 CUET PG 2025 number of applicants registrations, out of which 523,032 CUET PG number of candidates appeared, recording a high attendance rate of 79.97%, the highest since the inception of CUET PG Exam.
For the academic session 2025-2026, the number of CUET PG 2025 applicants was 6 lakh 54 thousand (multiple registrations) and around 5 lakh 52 thousand candidates appeared for the CUET PG 2025. The subject-wise distribution of candidates for CUET PG 2025 has been officially released and this years trend indicate higher participation in programs such as MBA, LLB, and Computer Science.
In CUET PG 2024 exam, 4,62,603 unique registered candidates who were administered 7,68,414 tests. A total of 190 Universities (Central/State/Private and others) were participating in CUET PG 2024 exam. The total number of Question Papers was 240 in different mediums and the number of Questions was 18000. These were used over 15 days and in 44 Shifts.

How Many Candidates Applied for CUET PG 2025
For CUET PG 2025, the National Testing Agency (NTA) reported that 4,12,024 unique candidates registered for the examination. This figure reflects a slight decrease compared to the previous year, where 4,62,603 candidates registered for CUET PG 2024. The CUET PG 2025 examination was conducted between March 13 and April 1, 2025, encompassing 157 subjects. The exam was administered in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) format across 43 shifts, with each day featuring three shifts: 9:00 am – 10:30 am, 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm, and 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm.
