IIT Kanpur offers an MSc PhD integrated course in Physics specialisation. For admission to this course, Joint Admission Test for MSc (JAM) is conducted. It is an all-India examination conducted jointly by the Indian Institutes of Technology and Indian Institute of Science for admission to MSc, Joint MSc-PhD, MSc-PhD dual degree and other post-UG degree programmes at IITs and IISc.
