Low score in CUET PG 2026: What are the Options?
The candidates should note that around five lakh candidates appeared in the CUET PG 2026 exam for admission to the Post Graduate Courses in the participating universities. The NTA does not release the cutoff; instead, the participating universities release their cutoff list for the first round of Counselling. The candidates who scored equal to or more than the cutoff are called to participate in the Counselling round. The candidates should also note that the CUET PG score is also acceptable to various private universities.
If someone gets a low score, like a 150 to 160 in CUET PG 2026 result, he/she must not lose hope for admission. Frankly, he/she may not get the course of his/her choice and colleges as well, but all roads don’t end here. There are lots of options that students can explore for admission. Students can still get admission into state and private universities and some lesser-known central universities. Students should look for the last round of counselling where admission is given at a low score. If you score low in the exam, you should keep a track of the cutoff of the respective course and college carefully. Look for less competitive courses, such as arts and humanities, for admission with a low score in CUET PG 2026.
CUET PG 2026 Passing Marks
