CUET UG Syllabus 2026 can be downloaded by students preparing for Common University Entrance Test (CUET), conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to undergraduate programmes in central and participating universities across India. It is not compulsory for candidates to opt for CUET General Aptitude Test. Candidates can opt for CUET General Aptitude Test for courses which mentions the deleted CUET subjects and for the vocational courses.

From CUET UG 2026 onwards, candidates can now choose for five CUET subjects. Earlier, the subject choices were six. With the rediuction in number of CUET subjects, the choices have been reduced. CUET UG Syllabus 2025 for Science, Arts & Commerce

NTA offers 23 domain-specific subjects. CUET syllabus will vary stream-wise. Science students will have to opt for CUET domain subjects like Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, and Biology. Commerce students will have to select the CUET domain subjects from Accountancy, Mathematics, Business Stydies, Economics and Arts students will have to opt from History, Geography, Political Science and other subjects studied in class 12th. CUET Syllabus for Science Students

CUET Agriculture Syllabus

CUET Agriculture syllabus covers topics from farms and plants. Some of the important topics from Agriculture domain subject are: Agrometeorology, Genetics and Plant Breeding, Biochemistry

CUET Biology Syllabus 

CUET Biology syllabus is covered from the class 11th and 12th NCERT books. This subject covers topics- reproduction, Genetics and Evolution, Biology and Human Welfare, Biotechnology and its application, ecology and environment. The question paper will consist of 50 MCQs. Q:   What is a good score in CUET UG?
A: 

On analysing the CUET UG cut off for the academic year 2025-26, scoring above 700 marks can be considered a good score in CUET UG. Candidates scoring above 700 may fall in the category of 95+ percentile. Candidates can get admission to top central  universities like University of Delhi, Banaras Hindu University, Jawaharlal Nehru University and other universities in the desired course. Given below is the range that is considered good for admission:

  • Very Good Score: 700 and above
  • Good Score: 650 and above

Score range between 400-649 is considered an average score. Admission on the basis of the average score can et into any decent college in India accepting CUET scores. 

Q:   Is it important to select CUET subjects studied in class 12th?

Yes, it is important for students to align the CUET UG subjects with the subjects studied in class 12th. Top central universities like Delhi University, does not accept CUET subject scores which have not been studied by student in class 12th. While selecting CUET subjects candidates must make sure that CUET subjects must closely or completely align with the subjects studied in class 12th. Failing which, candidate will be disqualified for admission despite a good score.

No, Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) 2026 does not include class 11 syllabus. CUET syllabus is primalritly based on class 12th NCERT curriculum.  However, wile preparing for CUET UG, candidates must have class 11 subject fundamental clarity to prepare as per class 12th curriculum. It is important for candidates to understand the concepts studied in class 11th.

CUET 2026 Exam Pattern

CUET 2026 exam is divided into three sections. In the first section, the Language Skills of candidates will be tested through Reading Comprehension passage questions. The second section of CUET exam pattern will be based on the subject opted for and the third section is on GK, Current Affairs, Mathematics, and Logical and Analytical Reasoning. Q:   What type of questions are asked in the CUET exam?
A: 

The CUET questions are objective in nature and carries four options also known as MCQs. Candidates will have to choose the correct answer option and click on it with the help of mouse. Since CUET UG 2026 exam will be conducted in a CBT mode, test-takers will be able to mark only one answer option. In case it is the correct option, students will get +5 marks and in case of wrong answer, negative marking scheme will be applied. Hence, candidates must ensure the accuracy of the answer before selecting the answer. 

Q:   What is the total score in CUET UG?
A: 

CUET UG total marks is 250 Marks for each subject. Candidates can choose up to five CUET subjects. Each subject paper has 50 questions which will total to 250 marks for each subject. For every correct answer, candidate will get 5 marks. The CUET total marks will be uniform for all 37 subjects. The Total CUET subjects marks can vary depending on the number of subjects chosen by candidates.

  • If three CUET subjects chosen: 750 total marks
  • If four CUET subjects chosen: 1000 total marks
  • If five CUET subjects chosen: 1250 total marks

No, CUET exam is not compulsory to take admission in Christ College of Science and Management. The admissions are done on merit basis. Final selections are based on marks scored in qualifying exam and interview performance.
