CUET Syllabus 2026 Official PDF Download Free (Science, Arts & Commerce)

National Testing Agency has not introduced any new changes in CUET UG 2026 syllabus yet. Candidates can check the last year changes in CUET syllabus:

1. Number of languages reduced from 23 to 13
2. Computer Based Test for all subjects
3. A total of five CUET subjects can be taken instead of 10
4. Standard CUET exam duration of 60 minutes for each subject
5. Number of CUET subjects reduced from 63 to 37
6. Standard number of questions in all subjects (no optional questions)

CUET UG Syllabus: Section I (Language)

Section 1 of CUET syllabus consists of Languages. Check below to know the languages offered in CUET exam 2026:

• Reading Comprehension: There will be three types of passages (maximum 300-350 words)
  • Factual
  • Narrative
  • Literary
• Verbal Ability
• Rearranging the parts
• Choosing the correct word

NTA offers 23 domain-specific subjects. CUET syllabus will vary stream-wise. Science students will have to opt for CUET domain subjects like Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, and Biology. Commerce students will have to select the CUET domain subjects from Accountancy, Mathematics, Business Stydies, Economics and Arts students will have to opt from History, Geography, Political Science and other subjects studied in class 12th. CUET Syllabus for Science Students

CUET Agriculture Syllabus

CUET Agriculture syllabus covers topics from farms and plants. Some of the important topics from Agriculture domain subject are: Agrometeorology, Genetics and Plant Breeding, Biochemistry

and Microbiology, Livestock production, crop production, horticulture.

CUET Biology Syllabus 

CUET Biology syllabus is covered from the class 11^th and 12^th NCERT books. This subject covers topics- reproduction, Genetics and Evolution, Biology and Human Welfare, Biotechnology and its application, ecology and environment. The question paper will consist of 50 MCQs. Candidates must practice with previous year question paper to know the difficiculty level.

CUET Chemistry Syllabus 

CUET UG Chemistry syllabus covers Solutions, Electrochemistry, Chemical Kinetics, d and f block elements, Coordination compounds, Haloalkanes and Haloarenes, Alcohols, Phenols and Ethers, Aldehydes, Ketones and Carboxylic Acids, Amines, Biomolecules. CUET Mathematics Syllabus 

CUET Mathematics syllabus is common for Commerce and Science Students. This subject covers topics like- Algebra, relation and function, Calculus, Integration and its application, Differential equation, probability, linear programming, Vectors and three dimensional geometry. Candidates must practice with CUET previous year question paper to know the important questions and weightage topic wise.

CUET Physics Syllabus

To prepare well for CUET Physics, student check important topics- Electrostatistics, current electricity, magnetic effects of current and magnetism, Electromagnetic induction and Alternating currents, Electromagnetic waves, Optics, Atoms and Nuclei and so forth.

CUET Syllabus for Commerce Students

CUET syllabus for Commerce students covers the domain subjects like Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, and Mathematics along with language and general test. The syllabus aligns with the class 12^th NCERT syllabus.

CUET Accountancy Syllabus

CUET Accountancy syllabus covers accounting for partnerships including nature, final accounts, division of profits. The questions are also imcluded from important topics like- analysis of financial statements, computerized accounting system, dissolution of partnership firm.

CUET Business Studies Syllabus

CUET Business Studies syllabus covers nature of management, levels of management, principles of management, planning, organizing, staffing, Directing, controlling, Business Finance, Marketing , Entrepreneurship development, and consumer protection.

CUET Economics Syllabus

CUET Economics syllabus includes topics from microeconomics and macroeconomics. Some of the important topics are consumer behavior and demand, produced behavior and supply, forms of market and price determination, National Income, determination of income and employment, money and banking, government budget and economy, and balance of payments.

CUET Syllabus for Arts Students
