A memorable and enjoyable campus.

Placements: If you are doing just an undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Arts or Social Science and expecting placement, then you need to rethink your decision. You should go for an M.A. or MBA if you want placements. However, BHU still offers placements for undergraduate degrees in IITs, science faculty, and even the commerce faculty.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure here is pretty good, but it can be improved. Hostel food is amazing at the lowest prices. Accommodation in the hostel is so cheap that it can be afforded by everyone. The central and cyber libraries provide sufficient study space for students. Additionally, there is one ground per faculty and a health center for students.

Faculty: Semester exams are not very difficult, and you need 40/100 to pass the semester exams. However, the semester exam timing is not constant. In one semester, you may have an 8-month gap, and in the next semester, you may have only a 3-month gap. Still, you will be given enough time for preparation.

Other: BHU has one of the best campuses with facilities.

Placement-wise, not recommended in B.A. courses; otherwise, campus life and overall facilities are g

Placements: B.A. Hons. in Social Sciences at BHU doesn't offer much placement through campus. However, you will get a chance for various internships as well as for volunteering in multiple events and functions held in and outside the campus. If anyone is looking for placement through B.A., then there is no placement at all.

Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure of the campus is somewhat good. There is free Wi-Fi available throughout the campus. Except for older buildings, all the buildings are good, and the main plus point is the library of BHU. It's a huge library offering lakhs of books, and there is a cyber library also available.

Faculty: Most of the faculty is really helpful and qualified. Their teaching is exceptionally well. But sometimes, classes are not held regularly. The course curriculum is good and relevant, and it will prepare you for competitive exams, as the syllabus is very wide. The semester exams are not that tough.

Other: I have chosen the B.A. Hons. Economics course in BHU. The professors are really good and knowledgeable. I wish there would be an improvement in the placement scenario in the future. The campus is very huge and also beautiful (especially the VT temple). If anyone is a sports enthusiast, then this is the place for you to be because of the huge grounds available throughout the campus. Fests take place multiple times.

Satisfied with academics and evaluation. Lack of placement opportunities.

Placements: Placements are less in the Bachelor of Arts course. Students with foreign languages, hospitality and tourism, and statistical skills may have a better chance. Placements mainly (here in BHU) are offered for Master's and special course students, such as those in management, hospitality, nursing, medical, vocational, etc.

Faculty: Faculty of Social Sciences (1971) are one of the six major centers of education on campus, with specialization in History, Economics, Political Science, and other social sciences. The staff here are well-educated and professional in their fields. Libraries (Departmental) and other resources for study material are available. Extracurricular activities, academic conferences, and meetings take place often. Exams are held semester-wise in both UG and PG Programs. The exam process can become hectic if we don't clear exams in a single attempt. The back papers and special supplementary examinations are also held regularly to aid students.

Other: Fest, events, important personalities, and professionals from various fields often visit the premises. National-level conferences are one of the major events that take place in our college. There are inter-university and intra-university exchanges for faculty and research.

Best Facilities and Environment.

Placements: Most students don't get placement in my faculty. Top recruiting companies are J.P. Morgan, HSBC, Genpact, IBM, and State Street Barclays. The highest package offered for a student is 4 LPA. If we talk about internships, only 10-20% of students join any internship. Piramal Foundation and TAS are the main internship companies.

Infrastructure: The quality of the new infrastructure is excellent, but the old one needs some renovation. Some classes are smart classes, and overall, the classes are good. The facilities we get on the whole campus include unlimited Wi-Fi, a green campus, playing grounds for all types of sports, a park for all hostels, open gyms, one of India's biggest libraries, and a cyber library. Bus services are available for all students on campus, and there are free medical facilities 24/7 in a multispecialty hospital, which also has a student corner for normal medical assistance. If we talk about hostels and mess, the faculty has 3-4 hostels, and each hostel has 1-2 messes which provide good quality, variable food at a genuine price. BHU has a common canteen other than the normal cafeteria, and the canteen offers many food, snacks, and cafeteria options.

Faculty: The teachers are very knowledgeable and well-qualified, and the teaching quality is just like any other well-named and good university. The course syllabus is very good and covers every point of the subject. Yes, semester exams are tough, but not so much that you cannot achieve good marks. But you need to submit all assignments on time, take all tests, and practice the previous years' question papers.

Other: I chose this course because I have a good interest in social study subjects. The best thing about this course is that you learn about your culture, society, history, and your country and the world. BHU and its faculty organize many events and fests every year. BHU also has many scholarship programs. If we talk about campus connectivity, the whole campus is fully connected.

BHU : TRADITIONS MEET MODERNITY.

Placements: Honestly, writing the placement of my honours economics is not too good, but the knowledge given by teachers is helping me to study further. But other courses like IIT BHU, IMS placement is good; not many good students are placed and earning a good amount of money.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the campus is very old and needs to be improved, but all the facilities available here are good, like the computer lab, cyber library, sports curriculum, and much more. Hostels are good and are provided according to merit. Medical facilities are very good; also, the university provides students with a health card .

Faculty: The faculties are very knowledgeable in their field and also very helpful and always ready to guide their students regarding study career scope and further studies. The examination conducting body is very strict and timely conducts examinations no matter what.

Other: I am currently pursuing graduation in eco hons and I wanted to do further studies in it . There is a need to improve because the syllabus is outdated and more emphasis is given to the theory part. BHU is famous for its history, cultural activities, and programming. From time to time, many student groups organise different programs.
