The Banaras Hindu University.
Placements: The university is good for studying, but in my course, the placement scene is rare. It has decent placements in institutes like IIT and IMS. So placement seen is good in these facilities. But in the reality, the placement is not that good. It has placement in foreign languages, tourism, etc. Overall, the placement is above average.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are also very nice. Students reside in a low number and get good facilities. The infrastructure of the hostel is also nice.
Faculty: The professors are highly knowledgeable and help students gain extra knowledge regarding subjects. Most professors had earned a PhD and completed their doctoral degrees. The question pattern is moderate, one has to get 33% marks to pass in the exam. As this university provides a bundle of subjects, there is no doubt that it has a variety of subjects to study so that one can achieve their aims.
Other: I chose this linguistics course because I want to explore more about language. Event organisation are also good here.

The best campus life one can experience.
Placements: I am doing a Master's in linguistics, which is as interesting as it sounds. My course offers many kinds of jobs, but students mostly prefer to take net exams to qualify and become professors, for which BHU also provides Ph.D. in various subjects. One must consider taking admission in BHU.
Infrastructure: BHU Wi-Fi, although it doesn't work everywhere, is quite good. The buildings get renovated very often. The central library is the main attraction for students with numerous books and information about almost everything, in a peaceful environment. You can find every facility from the hospital to the canteen to the library.
Faculty: The semester exams are too easy, and the syllabus is also good. They don't pressure the students much. It's just that they don't alert the students beforehand. Other than that, the dates of exams are also well planned. Professors give presentations and make the students industry-ready.

Our college provides excellent education and good environment.
Placements: In our college, many students are placed. We have a batch of 52 students, and around 20 students are placed on campus. The highest salary package offered is 7 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 4.4 LPA. Top recruiting companies visit our campus. Students can apply for internships.
Infrastructure: Our college provides excellent infrastructure and facilities. The campus has its own cyber and central libraries that are accessible to each student. Hostels are good. The quality of the food in the hostel is not good. Medical facilities and sports facilities are excellent.
Faculty: Our teachers are well-deserved and qualified. The teaching quality is excellent. Semester exams are not difficult. If you study, you will pass. Exams are conducted on time.
Other: The best thing about our course is the knowledge and etiquette that I acquired from it. The experience could be better if the university had someone to handle student issues more quickly. Fests and events are conducted annually. Extracurricular activities are good.

If you want to pursue linguistics then BHU has some of the best faculty for the subject.
Placements: Linguistics is a field of study which offers wide range of research opportunities as well as jobs. However, in India we don't have many jobs available as of now. There are some companies like Welocalize which offer job roles such as translator, linguist, lexicographer etc. But there aren't many vacancies. Computational linguistics is also a great option for jobs but one require knowledge of some programming languages and basic coding.
Infrastructure: BHU is famous for its old buildings and ancient style infrastructure. We have a central library in campus which is open for all students. Labs, classes and departments are a bit rusty but are okay. Medical facilities are at best since for students all facilities are free.
Faculty: Faculty in linguistics department are the best. They are well experienced and knowledgeable. The curriculum for Masters is well structured and follows the latest research in the field. The semester exams are moderate and one can pass easily. There are many fests organized throughout the year.

The college provides all the facilities that are required by the student.
Placements: The college doesn't provide any placements. Although the college provides a few placement opportunities, there will be no placements for our department. There were no placements for the student of the linguistics department. Some other colleges organise these programmes, and this must be initiated in BHU too.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is up to the mark, and all the facilities are available here. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Students are provided with their individual codes and ID number to use Wi-Fi. Classes are conducted in two zones; one is the old CHC building, and the other one is the new lecture theatre.
Faculty: Our faculty members are knowledgeable, qualified, and very much helpful. There is good communication between students and teachers. They are very cooperative in every situation. Time management and punctuality are given importance. Our faculty are friendly and very helpful. We have 4 teachers in our department.
Other: Co-curricular activities are highly encouraged, and the student also participate in them.
