Banaras Hindu University (BHU) BSc Courses & Fees 2025: Dates, Eligibility, Cutoff, Admission

The university offers three to four year long BSc (Hons) courses. It is available in different specialisations, such as Agriculture, Mathematics, and Biology. The BSc (Hons) course in Agriculture is also offered at Rajiv Gandhi South Campus, Barkachha, and Mirzapur under Special Courses of Studies. BHU BSc Nursing fee structure includes hostel fees, tuition fees, security deposit, etc. The tuition fee is charged annually or semester-wise. BHU BSc Nursing tuition fee is INR 3,000 and hostel charges are INR 14,625. Students after selection need to pay the admission fee amount for seat confirmation. Banaras Hindu University has seat reservation of SC, ST, OBC, and other such category candidates. Additionally, seats are reserved for females, physically challenged, visually impaired, etc., candidates as well. Some key pointers related to BHU reservation policy are as follows:

• The university reserves 15% and 7.5% of seats are reserved for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates, respectively for each course.
• 27% of seats are reserved for candidates belonging to the OBC category (excluding under creamy layer); not applicable for all courses.
• 3% of seats are reserved for Physically Challenged Candidates. Wherein, 1% is for each category: Visually Impaired, Hearing Impaired, and Orthopaedically Handicapped.
• 15% of seats are for only female candidates out of the total seat intake for M.P.Ed. course. If the seats are left vacant, male candidates are allotted seats based on merit.
• 15% of the supernumerary seats in all the courses are for the sons/daughters (including married daughters) of permanent employees (including those on probation) of BHU currently in service.
• There are also supernumerary paid seats available (not exceeding 15% of the total number of seats) for some courses (not available for Special Courses)
• About 15% of supernumerary seats are for Foreign nationals, out of which 5% of seats shall be filled up by children of NRIs and 5% by children of Indian workers in Gulf and South Asian Countries

To be eligible for BSc course at IMS BHU, Candidates must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) to be eligible for admission Further, they must also appear for NEET UG, the accepted entrance exam for BSc (Nursing) admission ar IMS BHU. BHU CUET PG cutoff 2025 was announced for admission for multiple specialisations, like MA, MSc, LLM, MBA, etc. According to the BHU CUET PG cutoff 2025, the overall closing score in the General category stood between 5 and 650. No, there is no provision for additional benfits to the students who are residents of Varanasi. However, the university may admit students under Employee Quota. Wherein, son/daughter of BHU employees get benefits under the quota. There are 10% of seats of total admission. Additionally, the OBC, ST, and SC quota makes it up to 25%. Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS), BHU offers 100 seats for its BSc (Nursing) programme. The course seats are filled by the college based on the preset eligibility and selection criteria. 2. Candidates need to download the admit card by visiting the official website of CUET 2025 and clicking on 'Download CUET Admit Card'.
3. After the declaration of the CUET result, students seeking admission to BHU UG courses are required to apply online for CUET-UG Counselling on the BHU UG admission portal.
4. Further, candidates are required to participate in an online counselling process for provisional admission to the course (s). After that, the final seat allotment will be done by BHU.

BHU CUET cutoff 2025 was published for admission to various UG-level courses in the form of scores. For the General AI category, the last round cutoff varied from 34.58 to 628.46. Hence, students should attain a score that is above 34.58 to be able to secure a seat at BHU.
