BHU BSc Eligibility & Highlights 2025
BHU BSc (H) duration range from three to four years. This UG level course is offered in different specialisations. Some of the available specialisations are Computer Science, Mathematics, Biology, Agriculture, etc. BHU BSc (H) admission is done based on CUET scores. Interested students who meet the eligibility criteria can go to the CUET website and select BHU as preference for admission. The candidates who meet the cutoff get counselling call letters by the concerned head of the department/coordinator.

Any caste, region, religion students can apply for admission to various courses at BHU. Any caste student must fulfill the eligibility criteria and take admission. While selection process, students are not judged basis their religion, they are judged based on their merit. Hence, any student meeting the eligibility criteria can get admission in BHU. BHU 2026 BSc Nursing admission is based on CUET UG scores. The BHU merit list for CUET UG will be released on the official website of BHU. According to the BHU, there will be three rounds of counselling along with an optional fourth round, if the seats remain vacant. Talking about the BHU maximum cutoff score of the previous year, B.Sc. (Hons) in Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology became the most competitive course with a cutoff score of 628.46 for the students belonging to the General quota.
BHU has not released placement report 2023 as of now. However, as per media reports, the overall the highest and average package offered was INR 1.2 crore per annum and INR 23.13 LPA, respectively. Admission for UG courses is according to the achieved scores in CUET UG. Students who are planning for the course should be aware of the CUET UG dates. BHU accepts CUET scores for admission to UG and PG courses. The admissions are over within few weeks of CUET counselling. CUET-PG is usually jeld in March whereas, CUET-UG takes place in May. BHU BSc Admission 2025: How to Apply?
Admission at the university is done on the basis of CUET scores. BHU course admission involves form filling, appearing for the exam, release of cutoff list, and counselling. 1: BHU BSc Application Process 2025
The BHU application process is online and eligible students can apply on the NTA website. An application fee of INR 650 (General/ OBC Category)/ INR 550 (SC/ST Category) has to be paid for form submission. The BHU application process is:
- Visit the official website of CUET-UG (cuet.samarth.ac.in) and click on the 'New Registration' tab.
- Fill out the application form with all the mandatory details.
- Upload the scanned photograph and signature as per the specifications.
- Select the BSc (H) course and BHU as per your preference and pay the CUET application fee as mentioned above.

2: Shortlisting of Applications
In this step, the applications are scanned for eligibility fulfilment. The university admits students based on CUET scores followed by a counselling round. Applicants with a score equal to or better than the cutoff are selected for admission.

Yes, to apply for BHU BSc (Hons) course, candidates need to register online for CUET-UG. From 2022, the BHU-UET exam is replaced with this exam. Based on the merit of candidates' performance in the entrance exam, candidates are then required to register separately for the counselling round. National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted CUET-UG entrance test from May 21 to Jun 23 and the result was declared on Jul 15.

BHU BSc (H) admission is strictly entrance-based. Earlier, admission was through BHU-UET, however, now the students need to take the CUET-UG exam. The university offers three to four year long BSc (Hons) courses. It is available in different specialisations, such as Agriculture, Mathematics, and Biology. The BSc (Hons) course in Agriculture is also offered at Rajiv Gandhi South Campus, Barkachha, and Mirzapur under Special Courses of Studies. Admission to the BSc (H) at BHU is through the NTA CUET-UG exam. The students have to apply for this exam and pass it with a good score to secure admission to the university. BHU BSc Nursing fee structure includes hostel fees, tuition fees, security deposit, etc. The tuition fee is charged annually or semester-wise. BHU BSc Nursing tuition fee is INR 3,000 and hostel charges are INR 14,625. Students after selection need to pay the admission fee amount for seat confirmation. It must be noted that the mentioned amount is as per the official website/ sanctioning body. It is still subject to revision and hence, is indicative.
The students must meet the eligibility criteria for admission in BHU BSc (H) Nursing course. Candidates who are Class 12 or equivalent exam pass with at least 50% aggregate can apply. It is important that the students keep the important documents with them at the time of admission.
BHU offers entrance-based admissions to all its UG and PG courses. To get admission to any UG and PG courses, it is compulsory to appear for the CUET-UG/ CUET-PG entrance exams. Further, the university also accepts other entrance exam such as NEET, GATE, CAT, etc. for admission to specific courses. Hence, candidates are required to appear for the accepted entrance-exam and also meet the course-specific eligibility for admission at BHU.
Banaras Hindu University course admissions is entrance-based for most of the programmes. Thus, one-year dropper student can apply for the desired course, however, qualifying the respective entrance is the a must. Apart from this, aspirant should meet the course-specific minimum eligibility requirements as well.
Moreover, the student can be asked to submit an application regarding the reason for drop out. Sometimes even this is not required.
NEET PG 2025 cut off has been reduced in comparision to last few year cut off. The cut off is the minimum marks required to qualify for the exam in that particular caregory. Only candidates who score the minimum marks can participate in seat allocation process. The table given below contains the cut off for each category:

BHU accepts CUET-UG scores for admission to several UG courses. Candidates seeking admission to BHU must apply online to register themselves. Follow the step-wise admission process as given below:
- The BHU application process is conducted in online mode through the official website of NTA (nta.ac.in). The fee for General category students is INR 750, INR 700 for OBC-NCL/EWS, and INR 650 for SC/ST/PwD/Transgender.
- Candidates need to download the admit card by visiting the official website of CUET 2025 and clicking on 'Download CUET Admit Card'.
- After the declaration of the CUET result, students seeking admission to BHU UG courses are required to apply online for CUET-UG Counselling on the BHU UG admission portal.
- Further, candidates are required to participate in an online counselling process for provisional admission to the course (s). After that, the final seat allotment will be done by BHU.
The tuition fee for MBA at Banaras Hindu University costs around INR 10,200 - INR 2.2 L. The fee differs according to the chosen specialisation. This fee excludes other components like exam fee, hostel fee, security deposit, etc.
M.D. cutoff is based on NEET PG scores for admission to the MD and MS courses. As per NEET PG cutoff the Round 1 closing ranks for top courses including MD in Radiodiagnosis closed at 159 and MD in Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy closed at 388 for the General category All India candidates. Also, NEET PG was concluded after the release of the Round 5 Seat Allotment. Banaras Hindu University MSc Psychology admissions require students to complete BSc in a relevant field. Generally, BSc Home Science is not one of the accepted degrees. Students need to have studied BSc in Psychology or an equivalent course.

At Banaras Hindu University (BHU), the maximum age limit for admission to the B.Sc Nursing programme is 25 years as of December 31 of the admission year. For SC/ST candidates, there is a relaxation of 5 years, so the maximum age is 30 years.
