BHU BSc Eligibility & Highlights 2025
BHU BSc (Hons) courses are available in multiple specialisations. Some course specialisations are Computer Science, Mathematics, Biology, Agriculture, etc. Selection takes place based on performance in CUET, which has replaced BHU-UET. Candidates applying on the official website will be redirected to CUET's official website, since, BHU accept CU-CET or CUET for admission to all the UG courses. The concerned head of the department/coordinator will issue electronic call letters to the candidates for counselling. Shortlisted candidates need to attend the counselling procedure for admission after the announcement of the merit lists.
BHU BSc Fees 2025
After the final selection, students are required to pay the course fee. The fee structure for BHU courses is inclusive of multiple components, such as hostel fees, tuition fees, security deposits, etc. Some of these components are one-time chargeable, and some have to be paid annually/semesterly. Candidates seeking admission to BHU BSc (Hons) course must visit the official website of the university to apply online. BHU BSc (Hons) admission is based on candidates' performance in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG). To get admission to BHU BSc (Hons) courses candidates need to register for the CUET-UG entrance test. Based on the marks secured in the test, BHU will release a list of selected students to further appear for the CUET-UG counselling process. The final selection is based on the CUET-UG score and counselling.
Yes, to apply for BHU BSc (Hons) course, candidates need to register online for CUET-UG. From 2022, the BHU-UET exam is replaced with this exam. Yes, BHU offers three-year BSc (Hons) in Maths. The course is divided into six semesters. Candidates seeking admission need to appear for CUET conducted by NTA followed by a counselling round. The applications for the same are accepted in online mode (cuet.samarth.ac.in). Moreover, before registration, candidates shall carefully check the course-specific eligibility criteria. The seat intake for this course is 573. Moreover, the fee for the programme is INR 17,050 as per unofficial sources.
No, admission to BSc (H) programmes in BHU is strictly entrance-based. Earlier, admission was through BHU-UET, however, now the aspirants need to take the CUET-UG exam.
