BHU Admission Process 2026 is ongoing for various courses. Some of the latest BHU admission news updates are given below:
- The JOSAA 2026 counselling process has concluded for admission to the BE/BTech course with the release of Round 5 seat allotment results.
- The CAT 2026 registrations for admission to the MBA/PGDM course are now open. Registrations end on Sep 15, 2026.
- CAT 2026 exam for MBA admission at IMS BHU is scheduled for Nov 29, 2026. The application process for the same will tentatively begin in August 2026.
- The NEET PG 2026 application portal is now closed for admission to the MD, MS, and PG Diploma courses. The exam will be held on Aug 30, 2026.
- The NEET UG 2026 Round 1 choice filling window for admission to MBBS, BDS, and other courses is now open till Aug 17, 2026. Round 1 seat allotment result will be out on Aug 19, 2026.

BHU does not accept JEE Main scores for BTech course admission. The interested students need to take the CUET-UG entrance exam to be eligible for selection. Students who get shortlisted based on exam score have to take part in counselling. The seats are allotted in this round only.
Yes, to apply for BHU BSc (Hons) course, candidates need to register online for CUET-UG. From 2022, the BHU-UET exam is replaced with this exam. Based on the merit of candidates' performance in the entrance exam, candidates are then required to register separately for the counselling round. National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted CUET-UG entrance test from May 21 to Jun 23 and the result was declared on Jul 15.
The total tuition fees for BTech is INR 3.2 lakh - INR 8 lakh at BHU. The total fee includes tuition fee, hostel fee, security deposit, registration fee, etc. Aspirants must pay the course fees to confirm their seat.
BHU accepts CUET scores for admission to UG and PG courses. The admissions are over within few weeks of CUET counselling. CUET-PG is usually held in March whereas CUET-UG takes place in May. Students must check the complete schedule for exact dates. CUET applications for the coming year will begin in February and continue till April.

CAT is compulsory to take admission in MBA and MBA IB courses offered by the Institute of Management Studies of BHU (formerly known as FMS BHU). Admission to these courses is based on candidates' performance in CAT, GD-PI and past academic records.
