Yes, candidates who have completed Class 12 or its equivalent with at least 50% aggregate and had Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as mandatory subjects can apply for BTech at Bharath University Apart from meeting the eligibility requirements, aspirants also need to qualify Bharath Engineering Entrance Exam. Yes, aspirants who have completed Class 12 or its equivalent with at least 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics can apply for the BTech course. Candidates must pass Class 12 or its equivalent with at least 50% aggregate in PCM/ Biology for Bioengineering department. Candidates of qualifying examination can also apply on provisional basis but at the time of admission such a candidates shall have to produce the original certificate of having passed/ marksheet from the respective examination provided that he /she fulfills the eligibility criteria. Failing to do so, the admission shall stand cancelled.

 BTech is a four-year course divided into eight semesters. BIHER offers BTech course in 16 specialisations, namely Aeronautical, Aerospace, Automobile, Civil, Biomedical, Mechanical, Industrial Biotechnology, Mechatronics Engineering, etc. Candidates who have completed Class 12 or its equivalent with at least 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics can apply for the BTech course. Candidates must pass Class 12 or its equivalent with at least 50% aggregate in PCM/ Biology for Bioengineering department. Apart from the regular four-year BTech course, Bharath Institute of Higher Education & Research provides lateral entry. BTech (LE) is also available in various specialisations, namely Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, etc. However, one can also apply for lateral entry after completing the Diploma course.
