The Birla Institute of Technology Mesra admission process is completed online. Admission to BIT Mesra is based on merit and entrance exam scores. The admission is taken with the help of a valid entrance exam scores of MAT, XAT, CAT, CMAT, and others. Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria by securing a minimum aggregate of 50% to 75% in Class 12 for admission to UG level programmes. Whereas, for PG level programmes, candidates must secure a minimum aggregate of 50% to 55% in graduation.

To apply for the Birla Mesra Ranchi admission, you can apply on the oficial website www bitmesra ac.in. After application submission, candidates will be shortlisted for further selection. Candidates must appear for the counselling process/ group discussion/ personal interview, depending on the selection process of the chosen course. As per the recent BITMESRA Ranchi placements 2024 stats, the University graduates received the highest package worth INR 52 LPA, whereas, the average package for BIT Mesra BTech ECE was INR 16 LPA and INR 17.5 LPA for BTech CSE graduates, respectively. BTech EEE graduates, on the other hand, received an average package of INR 11.5 LPA marking the placement rate of 69%. Whereas, BTech CSE marked a placement rate of 75% and BTech ECE marked a placement rate of 60%. A total of 550 offers were generated and 550 students received placement successfully through 185 companies that visited the Birla Institute of Technology BIT Mesra campus during the placement drive.
For other courses, such as MBA, BIT Mesra graduates received an average package worth INR 7 LPA with a placement rate of 84% and MTech graduates received an average package worth INR 10 LPA with placement rate of 31%. MCA graduates, on the other hand received an average placement package of worth INR 8 LPA marking the placement rate at 22%.
