    On Admissions
Q:   Can I get into DU with 500 score in CUET UG?
    A:

Delhi University offers UG courses based on CUET UG exam. Based on the DU B.Com Hons. cutoff 2024, It is not possible to get into DU with 500 score as the cutoffs for all the affiliated colleges under Delhi University were comparatively above than the score of 500. Further, DU CUET UG cutoff 2024 ranged from 608 to 758 for the General AI category candidates for B.Com Hons. However, cutoffs can vary as per the courses, for some courses, it is below and for other, it is above. Candidates can check the CUET last round scores for various courses to have an idea of the colleges and their respective results from the DU page:

Q:   How will I be allocated a seat at DU via the CSAS allocation (CUET UG counselling process)?
    A:

For seat allocation at DU, students are required to lock their college and course preferences after the result is out. Delhi University will consider normalised scores provided by NTA to calculate the merit scores as per programme specific eligibility. The highest possible preference will be provisionally allocated to the candidates considering the following
    criteria:

    • Program-Specific merit
    • Category of the students (UR/ OBC-NCL/ SC/ ST/ EWS/ Minority)
    • Availability of seats
    • Any other allocation rules, policies, or criteria citied by (CSAS (UG)- 2025) or University of Delhi
Q:   Can I get DU with 90 percentile?
    A:

In 2023, the competition has reached very high in terms of cutoffs released. The cutoffs had shown a whooping increase over the years and set a bar for the candidates to put a lot of effort. With a mere 90 percentile, candidates won't be able to get admission in DU, they must need to acquire a minimum cutoff of 98 to secure a seat at Delhi University.

    Q:   Is DU admission open?
    A:

DU admission is open. Admission in Delhi University is based on CUET-UG & CUET-PG scores. Below are the upcoming events for DU admission:

I'm absolutely happy with the department due to the cool professors and good placement.
Placements: We have an active and functional placement cell. Many students from our department get placed, and some of them are even earning 3 to 4 times more than a professor's income. Major placement companies are S&P Global, BNHS, Wildlife Institute of India, Earthood, NTPC, and many others.
Infrastructure: We do not have an independent hostel, but in every DU hostel, our department has dedicated seats for students, although they are limited. The infrastructure is good, classes are held in auditoriums and seminar rooms, and both have air conditioners. The network is not good in the whole Delhi University premises, but the Wi-Fi works well. The library is fine, has enough books, and the AC is also there.
Faculty: Semester-wise exams are conducted. I'm very happy with the bonding and behaviour of the professors. Since the department provides both M.A. and M.Sc., the first year (till the end of the 2nd semester) has the exact same syllabus, and classes are conducted together. In the 2nd year, there is a difference, M.Sc. students have to go for practicals and all.
Other: The best thing about the course is that it’s relevant to the real world, not just based on hypothetical concepts. In the 2nd year, there are a number of choices of papers from which you have to select some, so I find it the best. One thing I would like to see improved about my course is to provide practicals for M.Sc. students in the first year as well. The department doesn’t organize any annual fest, but the crowd is good since it’s between the campuses, so you get to meet thousands of students. Connectivity is well, you can take a rickshaw from the metro station and ask to be dropped at Gate No. 4 (Science Faculty), from there, it’s just a 100-meter walk.

    Good college and Excellent facilities.
Placements: Many students were placed. Out of 50 students, around 25 were placed in the campus placement. The highest package was 11 Lacs and the lowest was around 5.5 Lacs. Top recruiting companies were Deloitte, long, Ey, etc. Most of the roles that were offered was technical post roles like software engineer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of department of computer Science is much better as compared to any other department. The department is providing the facilities of Wi-Fi library and many more facilities. The college have a good computer lab with proper Internet connectivity. Medical and other facilities are also good.
Faculty: The teachers in this department are well educated and well qualified. The teaching quality is also good and relevant to syllabus. If any student study well for their exam then he can easily pass and semester exam are conducted twice a year and total of four times.
Other: I want to be an software engineer. If the college could provide freedom of subject selection then that would be much better. Events are conducted throughout the year and fest are conducted in the month of March and April. Scholarships are also available for eligible students.

    Review of Delhi University (DU).
Placements: Around 23 out of 45 students got placed in good companies. The highest salary package offered in our course is 9 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 4.2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Axis Bank, Deloitte, TCS, Godrej, etc. Students can apply for internships during their course period.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our department is good. We have good technological devices. All classrooms have projectors and speakers for better communication. Our department has Wi-Fi, a computer lab, and a library with many books. The hostel is good. It does not provide good food, so many students prefer outside food. Medical facilities are good.
Faculty: Our faculty members are good. They are well-educated and qualified. Their teaching methods are excellent. The semester exams are conducted every year. If you study according to the course curriculum, then you can pass easily.
Other: Our college has a good environment. It has a good campus. The best thing about our college is its quality education. Our college should provide the latest curriculum. Our college conducts fests in March. Extracurricular activities are good.

Good placement happens as we get to hear.
Placements: A fairly high percentage of students are placed every year, the highest and the lowest salaries being around 16 Lacs p. a and 4 Lacs p. an approximately. Top recruiting companies are American Express, Kotak Mahindra, RBS etc. The roles offered are mostly data analyst and business analyst. Also, a moderate number of students got their internships as well.
Infrastructure: Labs classrooms and libraries are very much modernised and are highly available for students. People even go study in libraries overnight. Don't know much about the Wi-Fi though. I'm not someone residing in a hostel but as we get to hear, they are quite good and affordable.
Faculty: The teachers are not bad. In fact, some of them are PhDs in the streams. The teaching quality is okayish but there might be a language problem for people whose mother tongue is not Hindi. The course curriculum is not irrelevant obviously and demand for upcoming data analysts is always high.
Other: I chose this course because of placements.

Teachers are well qualified and experienced but management is not good.
Placements: Very low percentage of students are placed. Highest package still 9lakh per annum Top recurring companies are allen, fitzee, Akash .And also some other companies like sonalika Mahindra comes here for placement but not a good job they offers like sales man so I think it's useless.
Infrastructure: Very less hostel hostel facility available. About 10- 15 boys are having fortune for hostel facility in Delhi University. Other are in some pg aur any flats.so there's problem in hostel facility and wi-fi are available but they don't give password so it's useless for students.
Faculty: All teachers are very well qualified and like other institutions there some teachers are very well technique for teaching students.some time teachers teach something but in exam u seen the problem that doesn't teach in class.Very hard exams never seen before subject like advanced quantum mechanics.
Other: Due to fame of this college I select it but the ground reality never expected like this.

Very good teaching staff which helped me to nurture and grow and get a good job in a good company.ty
Placements: I have just completed my M.Sc. in Computer Science at Delhi University. The campus came in college but I was not eligible for the campus at that time, better luck next time. I am searching for a good job in CS field. College is very good from teaching-learning processes to campus.
Infrastructure: Very good and healthy infrastructure. Wi-Fi also available in the campus very hygienic atmosphere, high-security surveillance available for the safety of girls. Neat and clean campus with a big library which has lots of books, good computer labs facility provided as I am a student of M.Sc (Computer Science. The college infrastructure is very good full of greenery and modernised labs and classrooms. modern learning processes.
Faculty: All the faculty members were good and helpful. They always taught us the important contents for being successful in exams. Very experienced staff. Loved their teaching a lot. Especially in computer science. All teachers were helpful and they want us to study in detail and with a good and cheerful mood to enjoy the studies. Both students and teachers enjoyed learning and teaching.
Other: Events were very good and big but I am a shy guy so I didn't participate in cultural events. but I participated in technology events like c+, video making, coding, games, etc. All the activities I did in college life were good and long-lasting memories in my life.

Step 1: After the declaration of the CUET UG exam, register on the DU CSAS portal in multiple phases.

Step 2: Submit College + Course combination preferences in the order of priority on the CSAS dashboard.

Step 3: The University has released the dates for three DU CSAS Seat Allocation Lists for all categories.

    • The "freeze" option in seat allocation for CSAS (DU) is to be selected by the students to confirm their admission choice to the allocated college and course at DU.
    • If candidates are happy with the assigned college and course, they can freeze the request through their dashboard.
    • Once they select this option, they will not be considered for "upgradation" of choice in further rounds of CSAS.
    • Candidates must only select this option only if they are satisfied with the allocated seat and want to take admission to this course & college
    • If they do not choose to upgrade or freeze your admission, their current status will be maintained.

Step 4: Once the candidate "Accept" the provisionally allocated seat, the concerned college will verify the eligibility and documents uploaded by the candidate online. The college has an option to 'Accept' or 'Reject' the admission of the student basis the verification.

Step 5: Once the DU-affiliated college accords the approval, candidates will have to pay the 'Admission Fee' to confirm their seat.

On the basis of the availability of seats due to rejections, cancellations, and withdrawals, DU may announce multiple allocation rounds. The University of Delhi will display the vacant seats on its admission website (admission.uod.ac.in) before every allocation round.
