- The JEE Main 2027 session 1 exam dates are out on the official website for the IPU B.E. / B.Tech admission. The exam will be held on Jan 22,2027 to Jan 24,2027 and Jan 28, 2027 to Jan 30, 2027 respectively.
GGSIPU BTech Highlights 2026
BTech at GGSIPU is a four-year, UG-level engineering course that is offered in full-time mode only. IP University BTech admissions are offered across many specialisations by its affiliated institutes. Candidates seeking admission can apply online via national-level entrance exams, including JEE Main/ CUET/ IPU CET. Some of the key highlights related to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University BTech admissions are given below:
- Selection process: BTech admission for all the specialisations is based on a valid score in JEE Main Paper 1, except for Biotechnology. For BTech in Biotechnology, IPU CET or CUET is accepted for admission.

Indraprastha University BTech admission is done on the basis of a valid score of JEE Main or CUET. The university offers BTech for four-years divided into eight semesters. The IPU BTech course selection is done by a centralised counselling of the course.
Admission to most of the GGSIPU courses is done through entrance tests. However, direct admissions are available through the Management quota. Only some colleges under the GGSIPU accept direct admissions through Management quota.
There is also spot/sliding round admissions available for leftover seats after all CET counselling rounds are over. The colleges fill these seats via walk-in or direct applications.
Candidates can apply on the university's website for the preferred course. Aspirants have to pay INR 2,500 for the GGSIPU form. Candidates need to fill out the personal, contact, academic and other details in the form.
