The Candidates must satisfy at least one of the following two criteria with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in the year of first appearance in the Class XII (or equivalent examination)Must have passed class XII (or equivalent) Board examination with a minimum of five subjects and secured at least mentioned aggregate marks (65% for PWD). Candidate must have passed class XII (or equivalent) Board examination with a minimum of five subjects and be within the category-wise (category top 20 percentile of successful candidates in their respective Class XII (or equivalent) board examination. Therefore, candidates appearing for improvement in Board examinations can EITHER appear in one or more subjects and secure 75% aggregate marks (65% for SC, ST and PwD) after improvement, OR, appear for improvement in ALL subjects to be in top 20 percentile of the corresponding academic year. For candidates who appeared in the Class XII (or equivalent) Board examination for the first time in 2024 and reappeared in ALL subjects (for whatsoever reason) in 2025, the best of the two performances will be considered • If a Board gives aggregate marks considering both Class XI and Class XII examinations (in the 10+2 system), then only Class XII marks will be considered. If a Board gives aggregate marks considering the results of both years of a 2-year Intermediate or equivalent course, then the marks scored only in the final year will be considered. In case such a Board gives marks of both years separately, then also the marks scored only in the final year will be considered. If a Board gives aggregate marks considering the results of all three years of a 3-year diploma or courses of equivalent duration, then the marks scored only in the final year will be considered. If a Board follows a semester system, then the marks scored in the final two semesters will be considered. In case any of the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Language are not evaluated in the final year (e.g., in a 3-year diploma course), then the marks for the same subject from the previous year/s will be used for calculating percentage of aggregate marks. • If a Board does not give marks scored in individual subjects but gives only the aggregate marks, then the aggregate marks given by the Board will be considered as such. The final review of the 10+2 organization was carried out by a Governing Board familiar with the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). Intermediate or biennial pre-university studies conducted by a Board or institution recognized by the Association of Indian Universities. Final review of the biennial Joint Service Wing National Defence Academy. The Senior Secondary Academy Examination, which covers almost the least five subjects, is administered by the Home Office Open School. H.S.C. A vocational examination of each public institute, board, or higher education institution examination in the Republic of India or elsewhere that the AIU considers comparable to the 10+2 organisation. A diploma issued by every Hindustan Technical Education Board or the Governing Board of Technical Education after passing the high-tech (A) degree of the General Certificate of Education (GCE) examination for the next three years in London, Cambridge, or Sri Lanka. The analysis of the secondary school certificate of a Cambridge institution, the transnational Baccalaureate Diploma. Campaigners should present a certificate from the AIU stating that their examination is equivalent to the Class XII exam, provided they pass the Class XII (or equivalent) exam outside India or another board not listed above. If the Class XII examination is never a public examination, the candidate must have passed at least one Community Board examination or Pre-University examination.
