I am not satisfied with placements and course curriculum but it has good faculty and infrastructure.

Placements: In B.Tech and MBA departments, more than 80% of students got placed. But for M.Sc. students, there are very few placement opportunities. For internships, only 40% of students got internships. Top recruiters are Google, Microsoft, Amazon etc. But they all hire B.Tech students only. For M.Sc., students, there are no good placements.

Infrastructure: In LPU, the infrastructure of our course is very good, and they provide free Wi-Fi. But the residential fee is very high. They provide good food in the mess at low prices, and they also provide gym and sports facilities at a little cost. They provide excellent labs for practicing.

Faculty: All the teachers are helpful. Most of the lecturers are Ph.D. holders, and they have good knowledge. I can rate the course curriculum 4 out of 5. I am a student of Master's in statistics and data analytics. For data analyst, SQL is very important, but it was missed in my course curriculum. The rest is good.

Other: I chose this course for doing something new.

Great infrastructure, supportive faculty, and strong placement opportunities.

Placements: Around 80-90% of students in my course are placed depending on their branch and skills. LPU’s placement record is much better for CSE, IT, and MBA. The top recruiting companies are Amazon, Cognizant, Google, TCS, and Infosys. The top role offered in my course is that of a data analyst.

Infrastructure: LPU has one of the best infrastructures in the country. Each classroom is equipped with a whiteboard, a projector, AC, and Wi-Fi services. On every alternate floor, there are washrooms and drinking water coolers available. There are computer labs well-equipped with computers in good condition. There is a central library with thousands of books available for all courses, and there are departmental libraries available in each block. Residential services are also the best, with good quality food. The medical facilities are available in case of any sickness.

Faculty: Teachers at LPU are very helpful not only in academics but also in different areas where they can assist us. The quality of teaching is very good, as they follow Bloom's Taxonomy of teaching. Each course is framed according to UCC, which makes it a well-defined course with clear course outcomes and program outcomes. The semester exams range from easy to moderate. The pass percentage is 45%.

Other: I chose this course because there is a need for data analysts in the current generation, and with my background in mathematics and statistics, my skills enable me to get placed at a good company. One World, One India, Magnitude, and Spectra are some of the notable and large college fests hosted by the university. LPU also provides a 100% scholarship on tuition fees and residential services based on different categories such as cultural, sports, academics, etc.
