LPU MBA is a two-year course divided into four semesters. The university offers an MBA in five specialisations. It also offers an MBA International Credit Transfer Option Programme. Additionally, the university also offers MBAs in online and distance education modes through the LPU Centre for Distance & Online Education. - A pass in graduation with at least 55% aggregate or completed Company Secretary (CS) from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) or Chartered Accountancy (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) or Cost & Management Accountancy (CMA) from Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI) is required to apply for LPU MBA course.
- BTech/ BE (any discipline)/ BSc (PCM)/ BSc (Maths)/ BA (Economics/ Math/ Statistics)/ BCom / BBA / BCA degree with at least 55% aggregate is required to apply for MBA Business Analytics.
NOTE: 5% to North-East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/Wards of Kashmiri Migrants.

LPU admission generally begins in January every year. Lovely Professional University conducts the National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to its various programmes. It is conducted online every year for admission to more than 150 programmes. LPU MBA Admission 2025: How to Apply?
Candidates seeking admission to the PG course should check out the eligibility and selection details. The LPU admission cycle begins with the registration process followed by selection rounds and counselling. Below are the steps for LPU MBA admissions:
Step 1: LPU MBA Application Process 2025
The exam fee for LPUNEST is INR 1,000 for males and INR 500 for females. The 'Take Admission' option is now available to all applicants. This means that candidates can qualify for admission through the LPUNEST/ interview process either before or after submitting their application for an MBA. Candidates are required to follow the below-mentioned steps to fill out the LPU application form:
Step 1.1: Visit the official website of LPU, https://www.lpu.in/, and click on the ' Apply Now' tab at the top of the web page.
Step 1.2: Register on the official admission portal of LPU i.e. LPUADMIT (admission.lpu.in) with basic details such as name, email-id, mobile no., state, gender and password). The email ID used during registration will act as the username for the portal and the password needs to be set by the candidate while registering. Candidates can continue to apply for LPUNEST (for scholarship purposes).
Step 1.3: Upload the requisite documents.
Step 1.4: Pay the application fee and hit the submit button to complete the application process.

Step 2: Slot Booking
This step is applicable only to the candidates appearing for LPU NEST. In LPUNEST slot booking, aspirants need to select an exam date and a shift for appearing in the exam. There are two ways to book the slot that are slot booking by the candidate and slot booking by the authorities of Lovely Professional University.
Step 3: Selection Rounds
The university conducts LPUNEST to shortlist candidates for MBA admission. LPU also accepts national-level entrance exams like CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ NMAT for shortlisting aspirants for MBA courses. The selected candidates are further called for group discussion and personal interview rounds.
Step 3: Admission Confirmation
After completion of the selection rounds, shortlisted candidates for MBA are further called for a document verification round. Aspirants need to confirm their seats by paying the MBA course fee. The LPU MBA tuition fee ranges between INR 1.6 lakh - INR 14 lakh. In addition, the hostel charges are up to INR 2.2 lakh. This fee amount is as per the official website/sanctioning body. My honest review of my college.
Placements: According to my knowledge, we had 2,500 students from the 2015 batch who are eligible for placement drives, and 1,895 students were placed in different companies like CTS, IBM, HCL, Aon Hewitt, Samsung, HP, Ericsson, Verizon, etc. A good package is offered in the range of 2.5-4.8 LPA. The placement is very good, with almost 90% of the students placed. It is the top private university in North India in terms of placement, with top companies like ITC and TCS.
Infrastructure: The hostel fees are not very expensive, and the food in the mess is very good. They offer 3 times of food that are based on pure nutrition. The hostel facilities provided are well enough, and the ambience of the hostel is good.
Faculty: The course curriculum is very good, with industry exposure. The college follows the course curriculum according to IIT's curriculum. The course modules are very good. The faculty members are awesome, well-qualified, very experienced, professional, and helpful. The exam structure is hard, but because of good study structure, students can pass out the exam well. Because of exams, we only come to know about our daily assignments and class work is there to know the performance.

Faculty is really very amazing.
Placements: It is good for placement, but the package is not too good, according to the MBA students. The package is not good that is offered at the time of placements. Everything about the college is good. The faculty is better and best for the teachers and professors.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is really good—a WiFi facility, a library, and classrooms—all the facilities are top-notch, according to the college student and the campus is too big . The mall and the hostel are really well managed by the university and the students are also good.

Pretty amazing and entertaining.
Placements: They conduct good placement drives; the highest package in my batch was 16 LPA. The top recruiting company was Google, which offered an excellent deal. The only issue with placements is that they tend to hire freshers more than experienced candidates, which can be problematic.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is great featuring a canteen and library with multiple levels. Each department has its own building and sometimes there are film promotions and shoots happening on campus. It's exciting to see such activities in this kind of environment.
Faculty: Most teachers are very helpful, except for a few, and they teach effectively. The semester exams are quite understandable. The questions mostly come from the books, with a few skill-based questions, which is a plus point as it tests both our learning and performance.
Other: I completed my MBA in HR and IT. With my relevant experience in HR, I needed a degree in the same field, which is why I chose this course.
