If you want to achieve new things, come to Sastra.
Placements: During this academic year, nearly most of the students are placed in our branch in both IT and core sectors. The placement percentage is approximately 75 to 80 across the campus. The highest package is 40 LPA for a CSE branch student. But in our branch, the highest is 25 LPA and the lowest is 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The classes are good enough with a sitting arrangement for 60 students, provided with a projector. The library contains more than 10,000 books. Wi-Fi is available across the campus. Labs contain all the equipment that is required. The hostel rooms are quite good, but the mess is average.
Faculty: Most of the lecturers are Ph.D. graduates, who are also enrolled in projects in the college research center. This course is relevant with proper lessons. We also have practical work, which is quite hard compared to other colleges. It feels tricky in the MID exams, but in the semester exams, it is easy to score.

The college is peaceful and pleasant.
Placements: 78% of the students are placed in different companies. Our compulsory highest package is 34 LPA, but in your department, 24LPA is the highest paid job. TCS is the top recruiter of your college. Other than that, Infosis and Infosis are minor recruiters.
Infrastructure: Our department is provided with well equipped classes with a projector. We have a library that consists of books related to all the branches. Labs consist of advanced equipment, especially for semiconductors. We have a good environment around our college.
Faculty: The faculty is good, but I myself felt that some of them stick to the textbook, but at least, all the lecturers are involved in research work. Some of the teachers got support from the government of India to follow up on their research on developing a product.

Satisfied with the college.
Placements: 95% of students got placed. The highest salary is 29 LPA, and the lowest salary is 2.4 LPA. Recruiting companies are Zoho, TCS Digital, Face, CISCO, and Amazon. 50% of students got internships in core and IT fields like Zoho, TCS Digital, Face, CISCO, and Amazon. Overall, placements are good.
Infrastructure: Good facilities and infrastructure available for our course/department (e.g. Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library). We have better hostel facilities in our hostel. The quality of food is available in the mess and canteen. Medical facilities, sports, and games are there.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good, and they are talented. They will explain neatly. They are highly qualified. They have their Ph.D. for everyone. Overall, teachers are well-qualified and very connected to students.
Other: An ECE-focused post indicates about 50% of placement for core roles and coding/IT roles, with approximately 100 ECE students placed in a batch. Another comment suggests that only a smaller number of core recruiters visit for ECE, making coding roles more common.

Overall, the college is good.
Placements: We have more than 75% placed in different companies. 24LPA is the highest package in our campus. We have more than 40% of people placed in core jobs. Caterpillar, Bajaj, Tata, TCS, and IBM are the recruiters. BAJAJ and TCS are major Recruiters.
Infrastructure: The class consists of projectors to enhance the learning and provide a detailed explanation. Labs have decent equipment. The new robotics lab consists of new technology for designing and construction. Wi-Fi is available across the campus. The library consists of 20000 books related to academic and knowledge subjects.
Faculty: Teachers are good. The teaching is okay. Coming to the exams, there are 3 mids and 1 semester exam. The internal marks are taken from the 3 mids. They take the best of two. Based on the best two mids, you get your internal marks. The exams are somewhat difficult, but you can manage by studying and consulting others.

It gives a way to shape the future.
Placements: The highest package is 21 LPA, but in my department, 7 LPA is the highest paid job. TCS is the top recruiter of our college. Other than that, Infosys and HCL are minor recruiters. Nearly 75-80% of students from my course got placed. The highest package touched 25 LPA, the average is around 6 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. Top recruiters included TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Amazon, and Bosch. Around 45% also secured internships in IT and core roles.
Infrastructure: The university has excellent academics and infrastructure but can be strict with rules. Placements are above average, mostly dominated by IT companies. Hostel and mess facilities are manageable. There is good exposure but still scope for improvement in core job opportunities.
Faculty: Faculty members are friendly, kind, and good in teaching. Training sessions are good. Semester exams are moderate, as they can’t be neither easy nor too tough. We need to keep our performance well in each CIA, as any one of the three CIA scores is neglected due to the best two scores.

With 95.5% in IPE and 90 percentile in JEE Mains, your combined score is strong enough for SASTRA’s ECE cutoff in recent years.

Past admissions show students with slightly lower marks have still got ECE.

You’re not guaranteed, but chances are high if you apply in both streams.

The chances are very low to get the ECE branch in Sastra, as the cutoff for the ECE branch this year was about 988 in IPE alone (stream 2). But in stream 1 (ipe+ mains), you should have about 95 percentile in mains for those ipe marks.

73962 OBC Rank in JEE Mains: With this rank, getting CSE or ECE at SASTRA is challenging but possible for EEE depending on Stream 2 and board scores.

If you are ready to take any branch seat maybe you can get something in 3rd counselling . But you are expecting ECE seat which is not even possible . If you want to apply in stream it requires 970-985 marks in IPE and the Jee AIR rank has to be in below 40,000

If you have enough marks with a range above 980 out of 1000 . You can apply for stream2 and you can get your seat in Sastra B.Tech in ECE.
