Candidates must complete Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology with at least 60% aggregate (50% aggregate for SC/ ST and applicants hailing from Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh and the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura.) to apply for VIT Chennai BTech programme. 

Age Limit

Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1st July 2003 are eligible to apply for VITEEE-2025.Candidates who fail to produce this certificate in original as proof of their age at the time of counselling, shall stand disqualified.

Nationality

The applicant for VITEEE should be a Resident / Non-Resident Indian National / OCI / PIO Holder.

VIT Chennai offers a four-year full-time BTech programme divided into eight semesters. The institute offers BTech in various specialisations such as Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, CSE (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning), CSE (Cyber Security), Electrical & Electronics Engineering, etc. Candidates who have completed Class 12 can apply for the BTech course.

Candidates need to have a valid entrace exam score for admission to VIT Chennai BTech programme. VIT conducts VITEEE for admission to BTech course. VITEEE is a 2.5 hour multiple-choice test.
