My review of East West Institute of Technology.

Placements: About 40% students are placed in my course, with the highest being 8 LPA and the average being 4 LPA. Top recruiting company is Infosys. You need to have a good CGPA to enter the interviews. The highest packages are all taken by students with a 9+ CGPA. Therefore, it also depends on your extra knowledge and hard work.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is decent, and it's away from the main road. A good amount of greenery, but the infrastructure is old-fashioned as it was built a long time ago. The hostel is a bit far, but living there is manageable. The food provided might not be the best, but it is adjustable. Sports-wise, there are good opportunities if researched. There's a huge football ground.

Faculty: Faculty members are well-known and amiable. But the curriculum might be considered a bit lagging. It depends on the faculty. If the faculty is an experienced one, they might give you good insights into the industry, which is helpful. You must have a good ear to pay attention.

Decent college with good opportunities, but not perfect.

Placements: I can say 80-90 % of cybersecurity students get placed, but most of them get in general IT roles rather than core cybersecurity. The highest package goes above 40 LPA, but only for a few top students. The average package is around 6 to 7 LPA, and the lowest is 3 to 4 LPA. Top companies are Accenture, Infosys, Cognizant, Capgemini, TCS and a few product-based companies also. Around 60-70% students get internships. The roles which they offered are Software Engineer, Analyst, and some Security Analyst positions for, of course, students with extra skills and certification.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are well maintained with projectors, if we ignore a few broken benches. Labs are decent and okay for basic security practice. The library is pretty good with enough academic resources and a quiet study environment. Hostel facilities are manageable but not exceptional. Rooms are average, and maintenance is slow. The mess food is average, like other college messes, and repetitive. The canteen is good, but you will not get any good and wider choices for snacks. Sports and games competitions and resources are available, but the main issue is the small ground.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified, decent, and very helpful. Teaching is pretty good, but some of the courses and topics are still old and not updated. So, extra efforts are needed if you want to become skilled through certification and practice. Semester exams are difficult, but if you study PYQs and notes from faculty members, you can score decent marks. Also, the pass percentage is quite high, around 85 to 95 percent as most students clear exams with much difficulty. Faculty members for the cybersecurity branch are nice and strict.

Other: I chose CyberSecurity because I wanted to be in the CS branch, but due to the entrance exam, i.e., COMEDK, I got selected in CSE & Cyber Security. The best part of this course is they taught concepts like networking, security basics and ethical hacking. I feel this course could be improved by giving more practical exposure and real-world projects instead of mostly theory. Campus life is good, with a decent crowd and regular events, but the fest is below average. Earlier fests were good, but now they have become very messy and scammy, as they usually cancel them.

Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) offers full-time BTech and BE courses in multiple specialisations. The UG-level programmes are offered via the university's affiliated colleges and constituent centres. Placements: 26.83% of students got placed in Biotechnology. While many others opted for higher studies. The highest package on campus was 56 LPA. The average was 8 to 12 LPA. CSE branch had the highest placements. Companies like Infosys, Mahindra & Mahindra, HCL Technologies, Wipro, JPMorgan Chase, and other top IT companies recruited students.

Infrastructure: The department provides good labs and classrooms with the latest equipment. Wi-Fi is available in the library. The hostel food is good, which balances hostel life. Facilities like a gym, tennis court, football ground, and basketball court are available for students.

The faculty members are so supportive and help students with anything.

Placements: CMRIT placements are robust. Many of my seniors are placed in very good companies, with top offers exceeding 40 LPA. Every year, 150 companies visit the college. The lowest package is around 4 to 5 LPA. I don't know what percentage of the students get placed, but students need to work hard to be eligible for placements; skills and CGPA matter the most.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure for ECE is strong, it has labs such as VLSI, HDL, and advanced communication, alongside well-equipped, secure hostels. The campus features smart classrooms, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a central library. Talking about the food in the hostel, it’s really good and definitely value for money.

Faculty: The teachers are so supportive. They clear doubts at any time. All the teachers are Ph.D. graduates and highly qualified. We even have many centers of excellence where we get hands-on experience and learn new things, which makes students industry-ready. The semester exams go smoothly. There are no issues with them.

Other: There is growth and opportunities in ECE, too. The best thing about choosing ECE is that we get to choose between hardware and software based on interest.

Placements: Placements are quite decent, meaning 50 percent of the students get placed. The highest package is around 35 LPA, given by one company called BitGo. Similarly, many other companies came and offered decent packages. For more information, check out the college website.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not so good, which means it will give you more of a school vibe, meaning it will start and end, but classes are good, and overall, they will provide everything that is supposed to be in engineering colleges. Labs are good, but there is no ground.

Faculty: Faculty are okay, meaning they are educated enough to teach you. There are a few teachers whom you say are geniuses in their field. They will guide you in a better way. Semester exams are kind of VTU type, don't expect more marks from their side, that's it.

Other: Fest is a kind of rare thing in this college, campus crowd is good, and connectivity is also good.

College is good....but not great and aesthetic

Placements: There's a bit less population in college but I think thts a good thing because of we get personal space and no crowd 2.8l lowest and 12 highest package We have bosch hp Capgemini etc We hv some companies in aerospace related jobs ..we work on research projects also

Infrastructure: Wifi is not working, classroom is okokishh but restroom is worst but library is good ...the best thing in the college is the seminar hall but washroom trust me one of the worst restroom tht anybody can use..our lab is in basement and no network there

Faculty: Tbh our faculty is great and chill they are highly qualified and they do understand students probelm and don't put us in stress Pass percentage is 80 yeahh the course curriculum is related..our Hod is chilll and they are so supportive they help in all the necessary things

Other: Aerospace engineering is good in college and I had passion... faculty is grtt and chill Fests are okok campus crowd also okok
