The IPM Aptitude Test 2024 was conducted on May 18, 2024, across various test centres. IIM Rohtak conducted the IPM AT in the computer-based test mode. According to the students’ reactions and reviews, the overall difficulty level of the IPM Aptitude Test 2024 was easy to moderate. The students found the QA section and the Logical Reasoning sections the easiest. The Verbal Ability section of the IPM Aptitude Test question paper 2024 was moderate. IPM Aptitude Test Analysis 2024: Section-Wise

This year the question paper was easy in terms of the difficulty level. The question paper had the usual topics like the last year. Students who had prepared well could easily score well in the exam as the questions were doable. Check below the section-wise IPM Aptitude Test analysis:

Verbal Ability: The difficulty level of Verbal Ability was moderate. The section was lengthy hence, the time management was difficult. There were questions on Reading Comprehension, Vocabulary, Idioms and Phrases, Para Jumbles, etc. One of the three RCs was lengthy. The vocabulary section was huge and it was a little difficult to complete the section within time. Some questions were very new and tricky.  Good attempts 30 and score 108+. 

Logical Reasoning: There were questions on topics such as Blood Relations, Coding and Decoding, Directions, Arrangements, Data Sufficiency, Odd One Out, Verbal Reasoning, Clock and Calendars, Visual Reasoning, etc. The difficulty level of the section was easy. There were a few very lengthy sets. A good attempt for this section would be 34-35 questions. Score 125+

Quantitative Aptitude: Students could have solved the questions easily in this section in 40-45 minutes. The question were based on basic concepts such as Percentage, Profit and Loss, Time, Speed and Distance, Linear and Quadratic Equations, Progressions, Geometry, Probability, Set Theory, Functions, Graphs, Modulus, Number System, etc. Arithemtic questions had a lot of questions and there were about 4-5 questions from Set theory. The questions were easy. Some students attempted all the questions. A good attempt was 35. score 135+

IPMAT Rohtak is expected to maintain a moderate overall difficulty level. IPMAT Rohtak exam focuses on speed, accuracy, and basic conceptual understanding. Candidates find IPMAT Rohtak exam easier than IPMAT Indore.

  • Do not reach late.
  • Do not forget to carry IPM admit card. 
  • Do not carry any prohibited items, including electronic devices, study materials, notes, rough papers, bags, etc. 
  • Don't panic. 
  • Do not ignore instructions given by invigilator

IPMAT is conducted only once an year through computer based mode in different cities throughout India. One can give this exam only once a year and will have to wait for another year to give it again.

IIM Rohtak accepts IPMAT Rohtak scores for IPM admissions. TAPMI University Manipal also accepts IPMAT Rohtak scores but also accept IPMAT Indore. 

Most IIMs accept IPMAT Indore scores.

Yes, many students have cleared IPMAT Rohtak without any formal coaching. What matters is how well one understands concepts, apply them under timed conditions, and adapt based on mock test analysis.

Students who have a minimum of 60 per cent in Class 12 can apply for IPMAT Rohtak exam. Students belonging to reserved categories can apply if they have 55% aggregate.

Yes, students who are in Class 12 or are awaiting their Class 12 board results can certainly apply for the IPMAT Rohtak exam. They should meet minimum eligibility.
