JIPMAT 2022 Question Papers: The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts JIPMAT exam every year for admission to IPM courses offered by IIM Jammu and IIM Bodh Gaya. NTA conducted JIPMAT 2022 on July 3 in 78 test cities. The single-shift exam was conducted online in English medium. Candidates planning to appear for JIPMAT in the upcoming sessions can download JIPMAT 2022 question paper PDF and practise the same.

Q:   Which sections in the JIPMAT question paper has the maximum weightage?
A:
The JIPMAT exam has three sections, namely, Quantitative Aptitude (QA), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC). Each section carries an equal weightage of 33.33% in the exam. However, to round off the 33.33 per cent distribution, QA and DILR have 33 questions each. While the VARC section has 34 questions. In other words, there is no section that has maximum weightage in the JIPMAT exam. Each section is equally important and carries the same weightage. Candidates must score well in all the three sections to secure a good overall score in the exam. Therefore, candidates must prepare well for all the three sections and allocate equal time and effort to each section during the preparation phase to perform well in the JIPMAT exam.
Q:   What type of questions appear in the JIPMAT question paper?
A:
NTA designs the JIPMAT exam question paper with objective-type questions. Multiple choice questions, or objective types questions in JIPMAT exam will have a total of four options. Candidates need to mark one correct response out of these four option choices. Choosing the correct answer option will fetch 4 marks, while incorrect option choice will lead to a negative one mark. No subjective questions are included in the JIPMAT exam pattern. Therefore, candidates may event land in a situation when the answer would strike immediately when he/she comes across the correct answer option.
Q:   Who is eligible for IIM Bodhgaya MBA?
A:

The eligibility criteria for admission in MBA programme at IIM Bodhgaya are as follows:

  • Candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree irrespective of the discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate.
  • Candidates should have a valid score in CAT exam based on which they will be shortlisted for the personal interview (PI) round.
  • Candidates must qualify the personal interview (PI) round followed by document verification and fee payment for final seat allotment in MBA programme.

JIPMAT Question Paper 2022: Highlights

After the launch of the IPM courses by IIM IIM Jammu and IIM Bodh Gaya, JIPMAT 2022 was the second session of the exam. The syllabus for JIPMAT 2022 was on similar lines to the previous session of the exam. Additionally, the test structure is similar to other BBA entrance exams. Therefore, Class 12 qualified candidates had a hint about the exam pattern and difficulty level of JIPMAT exam.

However, some tweaks were recorded in the topic-wise weightage as compared to other BBA entrance exams. Features of the JIPMAT 2022 exam were as follows:

  • JIPMAT 2022 question paper had three sections, including 
    • Part I: Quantitative Ability
    • Part II: Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning 
    • Part III: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension
  • A total of 100 questions were asked in the JIPMAT 2022 exam.
  • Each question carried four marks.
  • Each incorrect response in the JIPMAT answer sheet led to a negative marking of one mark.

Exam Pattern Followed in JIPMAT 2022 Question Paper

JIPMAT 2022 exam pattern was on similar lines to the pattern followed in the previous exam session. Besides the previous year’s pattern, several BBA entrance exams have similar exam pattern. Moving forward, no change is expected in the JIPMAT exam pattern for the upcoming sessions.

JIPMAT 2022 Sectional Overview

Weightage in JIPMAT sections are designed in a way to populate 100 questions in three sections. Therefore, VARC has an additional question, while the other two sections have equal question weightage. Check the table below for sectional overview of JIPMAT 2022 exam:

Q:   How many questions are asked in the JIPMAT exam?
A:
NTA has designed the JIPMAT exam to compile as many as 100 questions collectively across three sections. NTA has tried and divided these 100 questions equally across the following sections: 1. Quantitative Aptitude (QA) 2. Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR) 3. Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC) Both QA and DILR have 33 questions each, while the VARC section compiles 34 questions. The marking scheme, type of questions, medium of questions, and other elements of pattern remains the same for all the three sections.
Q:   Where can I find JIPMAT question papers?
A:
NTA conducts the JIPMAT exam every year for IPM admissions to IIM Jammu and IIM Bodh Gaya. Soon after the examination process is concluded, JIPMAT question papers are uploaded on the official website of NTA. Q:   Is there a management quota for admission to IIM Bodhgaya?
A:

There is no provision for admission through management quota in any of the IIM’s including IIM Bodhgaya. IIM Bodhgaya admissions are completely entrance exam and merit based depending on the course. Candidates first check the eligibility and selection process for that particular course in which they want to enrol.

For admission in MBA, candidates need to take the CAT exam and should obtain a valid score in it. Also, the candidate need to apply through IIM Bodhgaya official website for admission in MBA programme, shortlisted candidates will have to go through the personal interview (PI) round. Selected candidates will have to report to the admission cell at IIM Bodhgaya for document verification and fee payment.

Also, IIM Bodhgaya Phd in Management admissions are based on valid CAT/ GMAT score and for candidates who haven’t taken CAT or GMAT exam must take IIM Bodhgaya own conducted exam for admission in Phd in Management. Candidates having score/ rank in CAT/ GMAT above the closing rank specified in the cut-off list will be shortlisted for the personal interview round (PI) round.

Q: Is JIPMAT easy to crack?

A: Candidates appearing for BBA entrance exams typically find JIPMAT to be on the easier side if compared with IPMAT, NPAT, and CUET. However, candidates preparing with the adequate number of mock tests and past question papers find JIPMAT to be the easiest exam. No coaching is required if one prepares using past question papers and mock tests for JIPMAT.

Q: What is the easiest section in JIPMAT exam?

A: The difficulty of JIPMAT sections varies annually. Individual strengths and weaknesses determine which section is easiest. English proficiency and reading habit can make VARC easier. Math foundation and problem-solving skills can make QA easier. Analytical and logical reasoning skills can make DILR easier. Focus on all three sections as each carries equal weightage.
