The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the Joint Integrated Programme in Management Admission Test (JIPMAT) 2026 today in a computer-based test (CBT) format. The exam is conducted until 5 PM, and this analysis is based directly on what candidates told us after they came out of the test centre.

JIPMAT answer key are released by the National Testing Agency. The NTA conducts the JIPMAT exam for admission to IPM courses offered by IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu. After the completion of the exam, the NTA releases the provisional answer key. JIPMAT answer key comprises correct answers to the questions that appeared in the exam. This provisional answer key allows candidates to evaluate the number of correct and incorrect responses marked by them. Based on this evaluation a probable score can be calculated. Besides the provisional answer key, JIPMAT final answer key is qlso released by NTA. The final answer key is displayed along with the release of results.

Q:   When will NTA release JIPMAT answer key?

NTA releases the JIPMAT answer key in two phases. Initially, the preliminary answer key is facilitated on the official website. Candidates can access the preliminary answer key of JIPMAT within a week of the exam date. Candidates are given an option to raise objections against the preliminary answer key. These objections are considered to draft a final answer key.

The final answer key of JIPMAT exam is released along with the declaration of results on the official website. NTA will use the JIPMAT final answer key to evaluate the performance of the candidate in the JIPMAT exam.

Q:   Are there any coaching institutes that release the JIPMAT unofficial answer keys?

Less than 10K candidates appear for the JIPMAT exam across India. Only a few coaching centres have a course on JIPMAT preparation. Therefore, not many coaching centres release the JIPMAT answer key. However, some of the coaching institutes release JIPMAT memory-based answer keys. The memory-based answer keys of the JIPMAT exam cannot be relied as it is based on the test takers' memory of the question. There are chances of incorrect communication of question or answer options. Candidates must wait for the provisional answer key of JIPMAT exam to calculate their probable scores. NTA releases the JIPMAT provisional answer key officially.

2. Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR): Candidates uniformly reported that DILR was the hardest section of the JIPMAT 2026 exam. Complex data sets and tricky logic puzzles drove the difficulty. Some observations from candidate feedback include:

  • Calculation-Heavy DI: Data Interpretation sets featured mixed graphs (such as combinations of tables and bar charts), demanding multiple intense calculations and significant time investments.
