AIEED Exam Pattern 2026 - Arch College of Design and Business is responsible for drafting the exam pattern of AIEED 2026. The exam pattern will provide insights into the AIEED 2026 question paper structure - types of questions asked, marking scheme, exam mode, section-wise questions, weightage, etc. So, by consulting the exam pattern you will know how to orient your exam preparation, for instance, whether to focus on objective or subjective-type questions.
As per the official exam pattern, the AIEED 2026 exam will include a Creative Ability Test (CAT) and a General Ability Test (GAT). The exam will be held online. AIEED 2026 question paper will include 45-50 questions that have to be attempted in 3 hours. The total mark for the exam is 200.
- The Creative Ability Test and the General Ability Test are designed to assess the design sensitivity, problem-solving and creative skills logical reasoning & awareness of global issues of the candidate.
- AIEED exam question paper is bilingual, that is, questions are asked in both Hindi and English. AIEED offline exam can be answered in either of the languages. However, the online exam can be answered in English only.
AIEED or the All India Entrance Examination for Design (AIEED) is a entrance exam conducted by the ARCH College of Design & Business for admission to the UG and PG design courses offered by the institute. Online application current session are now open.
AIEED 2026 exam is usually conducted in the months of December and January. The Situation Test and GD will be from April 06 to April 18, 2026. Candidates must check the website for more information.

AIEED GAT 2026 Exam Pattern
In AIEED GAT, questions are from understanding of design, logical reasoning, design related awareness, awareness of global issues and concept comprehension. In this exam, candidates need to attempt 60 questions in two hours. The maximum mark is 100.

AIEED CAT 2026 Exam Pattern
In AIEED CAT section, candidates are checked on both written and visual, Design thinking, Lateral thinking & creative problem solving, & awareness of Design principles. In this exam, candidates need to answer 50 questions in three hours. The total marks is 200.

AIEED 2026 Video, Portfolio, and Personal Interaction
In Video, Portfolio, and Personal Interaction section, candidates are evaluated on the basis of Composure, Focus & clarity, General articulation skills, depth of thinking, and a range of work in a portfolio. Duration of these tests is 30 minutes and candidates are evaluated out of 200 marks.
