What is GAT?

Gitam Institute of Management (GIM), Visakhapatnam, conducts GIM Admission Test or GAT for admission to its Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Masters of Business Administration (MBA) programmes in various specializations, including niche ones like Management Accounting and FinTech. The entrance exam is conducted multiple times a year.

GIM also accepts the candidature of students for BBA and MBA on certain national-level management entrance exams. For MBA programmes, candidates can apply through CAT, XAT, GMAT or MAT. Scholarship Offered by GITAM University

According to the university's scholarship policy, students can avail 100% of scholarship based on their rank/score/percentile of the required GAT/ national/ state entrance test.
Candidates will be offered scholarship on first-come, first-serve basis.
Candidates can only get this scholarship for the first year. If a candidate wants to avail the scholarship for the subsequent years at GITAM, they should score 8.0 or above CGPA.
As there are limited number of seats for scholarship, candidates can get the scholarship based on the availability of seats under the scholarship quota.
In case the scholarship quota is filled, candidates can still get admission to the university without a scholarship.
