The cut off rank in Round 6 for B.Tech. (Hons.) in Computer Science and Engineering is 279 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. If you get a good score in the JEE Main, you would then have to pass the exam of JEE Advanced for admission into IIT Kharagpur. It is through the JoSAA counseling process that admission is granted based on the rank obtained in the JEE Advanced. For MBA or M.Tech or any other postgraduate degrees, you would have to qualify for tests like GATE or CAT.
