No complaints, very very good quality education, gives you the best exposure and opportunities.
Placements: Placements were not that satisfactory this year in december. Many had to sit in the second phase. Also there is a huge difference between BTech and MTech placements even in CSE. There were more companies dedicated to ECE and electrical and othere which had CSE profiles did not shortlist MTech students. However now, the Placecom is looking into the matter and will definitely try to improve it. Also, the earlier placement scenario was quite well to do with average package of 14 to 15 lpa for MTech. It has generally been stable and 90% people get placed in good companies. Obviously MTech from IIT KGP gives you an edge over other BTech colleges in terms of learning, exposure and awareness of latest trends of subject. Stipend is all the same for MTech (12,400 Rs per month). The Mtech projects that are allocated are high on demand and in pace with the latest subject requirements eg. machine learning, deep learning, brain computing, testing and many many others. In all, you will find yourself lucky to find a seat in such an institution where faculty and administration will themselves to support their students and give them high chances for pursuing higher studies abroad and good quality learning.
Infrastructure: Everything in IIT KGP is fully accessible almost 24*7. The library is one of the hugest with individual study halls, discussion halls, separate facilities for physically disabled and the latest editions of books of all kinds. You name one and you will find it easily using the library portal. The campus is fully wifi with good strength. BC Roy hospital is open all the time and quality staff is appointed there. Gymkhana contains almost all kind of sports facilities and trainers. Yoga is one thing which is not here. But the administration is looking into the matter. Classrooms are spacious and ac enabled. Some courses are held in the department and some are in Nalanda complex which is a huge building in itself with a capacity of I guess 10000 students sitting spaciously in their classrooms.
Faculty: The course is in sync with the MIT course structure and is revised every year. The faculty is new, experienced, helpful and renowned in various new and old fields. Various electives are offered for everyone and you are free to choose according to your area of interest.
Other: Safety, for girls in particular, is very good.
In all, you will find yourself lucky to find a seat in such an institution where faculty and administration will themselves to support their students and give them high chances for pursuing higher studies abroad and good quality learning.

The overall summary would be that I am satisfied with the faculty and placements.
Placements: As far as placements are concerned, they are good in respect of the placements of our branch. Approximately, 80% of students got placed. The highest package offered is 35 LPA and the lowest is 6 LPA. There are several companies like Mahindra and Mahindra, Bosch Ltd, TATA Motors, GE, General Motors, John Deere, Johnson's Controls, Mercedes, EXL Services, EATON, Bluestar, Sunrise Industries etc.
They mostly offer the post of a post-graduate trainee for Mtech. If you talk about the percentage of internships, it is around 60-70%.
Mostly they offer around 15,000-20,000 in the case of MTECH.
Infrastructure: If you talk about the infrastructure of the college, it is great. It has the largest campus of all IITs.
Labs and classrooms are in good conditions and all the instruments and devices needed are available easily.
Wi-Fi facility is available all around the year with full speed. Hostel rooms are also very comfortable with easy accessibility of cold and hot water and all other facilities like a geyser, washing machine, water cooler etc.
There are not any issues in my session regarding the infrastructure. In fact, the people and employees here are very helpful.
The quality of food in our canteen is good.
Faculty: If you talk about the education and knowledge given by the professors and faculty, it is of a high quality. The teachers here are very reputed and of higher qualification.
Educated from foreign. the kind teaching method they adopt is mainly focused on practical orientations. If you talk about Mtech, the student to faculty ratio must be 2:1.
You can get industry exposure by doing internships in the industry, the teacher can easily refer it.
The course curriculum is very useful and practical oriented.
Other: In our college, other exposures like extra-curricular activities and extra co-curricular activities are also fields where you can showcase your talent. Every year, several events in the field of sports and dance etc. are conducted to showcase the talent of a student.
The food services like canteens, meshes, small hotels inside of college are also of great standards.

Other: I am currently studying in IIT-Kharagpur and from my point of view, every college is great if a person is interested and passionate about his/her field. Other things about the campus here is that you have a full freedom and not much of the academic load as you can enjoy your own time. The college has one of the largest campuses among IITs. The campus is loaded with mostly all the amenities including a market, a hospital, CCD, Baskin Robins, Jawed Habib salon, a Subway outlet, etc. For academics, you have the largest library here. There are no restrictions on the timings to move out from the hostel. Each hostel is loaded with its own canteen , a night canteen, a stationary shop, and for sports, each hostel is loaded with table tennis and outdoor game courts. Also, the hostels are loaded with TV rooms and music rooms for entertainment.
