The course-wise placement details for the Class of 2025 are yet to be released on the official website of IIT Kharagpur. As per the media reports, over 400 recruiters visited the IIT Kharagpur campus for 2025 placements and offered over 1,800 job offers, including 409 PPOs and 25 international offers to the students. The key highlights of IIT Kharagpur placement for the Class of 2025 are tabulated below:

Earlier, a total of 685 BTech students registered for the IIT Kharagpur placement session 2024. Out of these, 546 were successfully placed during IIT Kharagpur BTech placements 2024.

IIT Kharagpur offers BTech programme across 15 specialisations which include, CSE, Mechanical, Aerospace, Civil, among others. While all BTech branches are popular at IIT KGP, CSE has the most competitive cutoff as per the IIT Kharagpur cutoff 2022. The IIT Kharagpur placement details for the BTech Class of 2025 have not been released on the official website yet. Earlier, a total of 685 BTech students registered for the IIT Kharagpur placement session 2024. Out of these, 546 were successfully placed during IIT Kharagpur BTech placements 2024. So, the placement percentage was 79.7%. The key highlights of IIT Kharagpur BTech placement for the Class of 2024 are tabulated below:

BTech aspirants must fill out the application form for JEE Main through the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) i.e., (nta.ac.in). Followed by JEE Main, students are required to register for JEE Advanced. For this, candidates have to first login with their JEE Main 2026 application number and password. Next candidates have to fill in the registration form, upload scanned certificates, and pay the application fee. The IIT Kharagpur salary details for 2025 placements have not been released officially. As per the data fetched from multiple media reports, the IIT Kharagpur highest package offered so far during 2025 placements was above INR 2.14 crore per annum. As per official brochure, 1,811 offers were made to the 2025 batch.
