 The National Institute of Technology Raipur offers a two-year full-time M.Tech course at the postgraduate level. NIT Raipur offers nine specialisations under its M.Tech course. All the specialisations are tabulated below:

NITs are well-known for their BTech courses and placements; the overall the highest package offered during NIT Raipur placements 2024 stood at INR 62 LPA. Currently, the JEE Main round third closing rank for admission to the BTech in CSE course at NIT Raipur is 12619. Moreover, as per the comparison of cutoffs of similar rounds in the years 2025, 2024, and 2023 it shows that the ranks slightly get higher and the competitions get a little lower. Students can get NIT Raipur with a 1600 rank. However, it may not be possible in the first tworounds as the cutoff generally remains higher. However, in the last round, your chances are good. NIT Raipur cutoff 2025 ranged from 1500 to 1823 in the last round for students belonging to the General AI category. While you might not get M.Sc. in Mathematics, as its cutoff was 1500, M.Sc. in Chemistry and M.Sc. in Physics are available to you, with their cutoff being 1614 and 1823, respectively. The MCA Cutoff 2025 has been released in the form of scores for all categories and rounds. Different categories will have different cutoff scores accordingly. For the General AI category candidates, Master of Computer Applications (MCA) has closed its admission at the last round cutoff score of 625. For the SC AI category, the last round cutoff score was 3160, and for the ST AI category, 6754. This pattern suggests that competition is tougher for the unreserved category when compared to the reserved categories for the same course. 

Yes, your chances of getting admission at NIT Raipur with a cutoff of 15K is possible. The NIT Raipur cutoff 2025 was published for various categories under the All India and Home State quota. 

For the General AI quota, admissions were closed at a rank of 78915. On the other hand for the General HS quota, the last round closing rank was 148039. Hence admissions at both these quotas is possible with a rank of 15K. Candidates should know that the cutoff for other categories and quotas will differ accordingly. 

Candidates must apply for NIT Raipur by first qualifying GATE with a good score. Hereafter, he/she must apply and appear for CCMT Counselling for final seta allotment. This is followed by the payment of course fee to confirm one's seat in the course. 

The required GATE scores vary depending on which branch you want and which category, and which round. NIT Raipur CCMN cutoff 2025 ranged from 352 to 590 for the General AI category candidates in the last round. Among all branches, M.Tech in Energy and Environment was the toughest and M.Tech. in Machine Design the easiest.  For the OBC AI category students, the last round M.Tech cutoff 2025 ranged from 314 to 436, wherein M.Tech. in Thermal Engineering was the least competitive and M.Tech. in Information Technology was the most competitive. Other categories and rounds will have different cutoffs accordingly.

NIT Jamshedpur and NIT Raipur both accept NIMCET entrance scores for admission to the MCA course. Talking about the NIMCET cutoff 2025, NIT Jamshedpur is more competitive than Raipur. The Round 1 cutoff for NIT Jamshedpur was 444 for the General AI category students. While for NIT Raipur, the closing rank stood at 616. So, it is evident that NIT Jamshedpur is very popular among the students for its MCA course.
