A great place to be and a great college despite the flaws.
Placements: Compared to other colleges, RNS has better placements. As all college placements depend heavily on your luck and the hard work you put in to crack interviews. The placement cell works well to bring in a lot of companies to the campus and ensure placement for its students.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not too good, but not too bad. The college, although has old department blocks, the teaching and the staff are new, as well as the facilities of the hostel are mediocre at best. The boys hostel is 3 sharing and the fees are around 1 LPA. Great overall.
Faculty: Teachers are great at their job, and they teach very well considering the curriculum. The faculty are always helpful and they dont stick to traditional classroom learning and make sure that the student explores his/her domain of interest fully. I have nothing but praise for the teachers.
Other: The college focuses more on the curricular side rather than co curricular activities. The fests are bad, and the college does not provide funds for them. If anyone plans to join this college for the fest and enjoyment, please do not. RNSIT is only for your placements and VTU ranks.

Job offers from Oracle, Deloitte, Maersk, and HashedIn, top internships and career growth.
Placements: Most of the students get placed even for small packages. The highest package is CTC 50 LPA from Amazon. Top recruiting companies for my course are Oracle, A. P Moller Maersk, and Deloitte. 7th semester started 2-3 weeks ago, already 5-6 people get internships at A. P Moller Maersk. The roles included full-stack web developer, data scientist, and data analyst. This college provides better internships than placements.
Infrastructure: AI&ML department labs are brand new. Wi-Fi is available. Classrooms are also good. Library is huge and variety of books are there. Computer systems are also there. You can practise coding in library also. The sports and games are average. Food is manageable. They follow a particular timetable every week.
Faculty: Since this year, our college has become autonomous. They are trying to make changes in the curriculum. They are doing multiple skill development programs and pre-placement training in the first year. The exams are not that difficult. You can get passing marks easily.
Other: AI&ML is the trend in the current job market. Hence, I took this course. AIML department faculty members are good. One thing I wish to improve is that they are making us take multiple certification courses at once. We can't concentrate on learning multiple skills at once.

Our college is good in terms of placements.
Placements: Almost 95% of students got placed in our college. The highest salary package offered off-campus is 41 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2.75 LPA. Nokia, Motorola, Accenture, TCS, etc., visit our college. Most of the students got internships in good companies like Capgemini, etc. All students got internships.
Infrastructure: Our college provides all facilities except Wi-Fi. We have a food court which makes it more advanced. We have a proper area to hang out with friends during lunch hours. It is surrounded by greenery. It makes our minds fresh and calm. It is peaceful but crowded during the hours.
Faculty: Teachers aren't very helpful in teaching. We have to do self-study because the new course has been introduced. It is difficult for teachers to teach. It is new to them. It's a VTU board, so it is the same all over Karnataka colleges. The course is new, so the curriculum isn't necessary for us. It does not include the current market needs. The staff members behavior is good. Easily a person can adjust.
Other: Our college conducts many events every semester. There are many clubs in our college. They take care of all these events.

RNSIT college review 2026 batch.
Placements: Our college placement started in the 6th semester of our college with top companies such as LSEG, Kickdrum, and Cognizant visiting our campus in the 6th sem itself, offering CTC of more than 10LPA. There are many other companies offering less than 10LPA too.
Infrastructure: The classes are well equipped with projectors, with Wi-Fi availability in almost all classrooms. There are a few shortages of ports for charging in some old classrooms. The hostel facilities are quite good with good food from Sodexo. The hostel is given on a sharing basis with 2 or 3 people in your room.
Faculty: The faculty is very good with great experience from all domains. They have good knowledge of the syllabus and teach very well. The exams are taken with 3 internals in the semester, along with the semester end exam. They give good teaching experience and teach very well.

Faculty: Total 297 teaching staffs, covering all academic levels. Professors (21), associate professors (42), assistant professors (226), plus distinguished/senior grades and adjunct positions. Ph.D. representation: Over 80 faculty members hold doctoral degrees. Faculty typically bring 10+ years of academic and industry exposure. Research and scholarly output publications 559 to 564 publications across journals, conferences, books, reflection, and an active research culture. Patents: 28 patents secured. Research centers: six recognised VTU research centers, faculty support ongoing Ph.D. work, and guide research scholars.
