UCEED Participating Colleges 2026: Result-Sharing Institute List, Seat Allocation, College-wise Seat Intake

The list of expected institutes at IITs through UCEED 2026 are:

All shortlisted candidates will get a UCEED common merit rank (All India Rank). All shortlisted candidates are considered qualified candidates in UCEED 2026. The expected seat intake for the B.Des program for the academic year 2026-2027 is given in the table below. Admission to these seats will be based on UCEED 2026 merit ranks.

Reservation Policy:

• PwD (Persons with Disabilities) reservation is 5% horizontal and is carved out from the respective birth category.

• Any unfilled PwD seats will revert to the original category.

B.Des. ProgramSchool of Innovation, IIT Indore

IIT Indore will admit the first batch of students to its School of Innovation for a Four-Year, Full-Time Bachelor of Design program. 

Admission will be based on a valid UCEED 2025 score. All candidates who passed Class XII (or equivalent) from CBSE, State Boards, ICSE, and IB in any stream (Science, Commerce, and Arts & Humanities) can apply for the B.Des. program at IIT Indore.

UCEED 2026 result-sharing institutes will allot some seats in their UG programs for admission through UCEED 2026. 

UCEED 2026 Result-sharing Institutes

IIT Bombay is expected to release the list of UCEED 2026 result-sharing institutes on its admission portal. The following institutes have given consent to use UCEED 2026 scores.

The counseling for UCEED 2026 participating colleges will be conducted by IIT Bombay in online mode as a Joint Seat Allotment process. Candidates who have qualified UCEED 2026 and will be assigned a merit rank in the design entrance exam can participate in the counseling process. Application to B. Des Programmes at IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Indore, IIT Roorkee and IIITDM Jabalpur (Participating Institutes) is expected to begin in the second week of March 2026.

The allotment of seats to the B.Des program will be based on the following factors:

1. The UCEED 2026 merit rank
2. Reservation category
3. Seats available in each institute at the time of seat allocation.
4. Choices of institutes picked at the time of filing the counseling application form.

The seat allotment process of UCEED 2025 will be conducted in five rounds. The seat acceptance fee is INR 60,000 for GEN/EWS/OBC-NCL category candidates. For SC/ST/PwD candidates, the acceptance fee is INR 15,000.

IIT Bombay has outlined the eligibility criteria of UCEED 2026 on its admission portal - uceed.iitb.ac.in. The eligibility criteria pertain to the age limit, number of attempts, academic qualification, etc., that candidates need to meet for admission. If a candidate fails to meet these conditions, he or she will be disqualified. 

UCEED 2026 Eligibility Criteria

• Age limit - OPEN/EWS/OBC-NCL category candidates need to have been born on or after October 1, 2001. SC, ST or PwD category candidates must be born on or after October 1, 1996. 
• UCEED 2026 qualification - The candidate must have qualified for UCEED 2026 and obtained a merit rank.
• Qualifying examination - The candidate must have passed all five subjects in the qualifying exam (10+2 or equivalent) in 2025 or 2026. Candidates who appeared in the qualifying exam for the first time in 2024 or earlier are not eligible for admission.
