UCEED Scorecard 2025 - IIT Bombay released the scorecard of UCEED 2025 on March 10, 2025. Candidates can access their UCEED 2025 results online and download their scorecards between March 10 and July 31, 2025, using their email ID and password. Initially, the last date to download the UCEED Scorecard 2025 was June 11, 2025.

The UCEED 2025 scorecard contains information like Part A marks, category-wise qualifying marks for UCEED 2025, and the name and roll number of the candidate. However, common merit ranks (All India Ranks), Part B marks, and UCEED Scores 2025 will be issued only for shortlisted candidates. The validity of the scorecard is one year from its release date.

IIT Bombay conducted the UCEED 2025 entrance exam on January 19, 2025, and the results of UCEED 2025 were declared on the official website on March 07, 2025.

Q:   Can I download the UCEED 2025 scorecard on result day?
A: 

IIT Bombay will declare the results of the UCEED 2025 exam on March 7, 2025. However, the scorecards will be available for download only from March 10, 2025.

So, you will not be able to download the scorecard on result day. 

The last date to download the scorecard is June 11, 2025.

The candidate needs to download and take a printout of the scorecard. Note that screen shots of the results will not be accepted in palce of the scorecard.

Q:   What details will be included in the UCEED 2025 scorecard?
A: 

The scorecard of UCEED 2025 will be released in March 2025.

The scorecard includes the Part A score for all candidates. However, Part B, Total score, and merit ranks are issued only for candidates who have qualified in Part A. 

The scorecard is valid for a period of one year from the date of its release. Using the UCEED 2025 scorecard, the candidate can apply for admission to B. Des programs offered by both participating and result-sharing institutes.

The last date to download the scorecard is June 2025.

Q:   At what time will the UCEED 2025 results be declared?
A: 

UCEED 2025 exam results will be declared on March 7, 2025.

Note that scorecards will be available for download from March 10, 2025. On result day, the candidate will only be able to see their qualifying status and scores. 

The results will be declared for all candidates who have appeared in the entrance exam. However, the scorecard will contain the merit ranks, Part B, and total score only for shortlisted candidates.

How to download the UCEED 2025 scorecard

The scorecard of UCEED 2025 became available for download on March 10, 2025, and is accessible until July 31, 2025, on the Candidate portal.

The steps to download the scorecard are given below:

  1. Click on the scorecard download link 
  2. You will be redirected to a login window
  3. Enter your email ID and password
  4. On successful login, the scorecard will be displayed on the screen
  5. Download and take a printout of the scorecard.

Q:   Do I need to qualify Part A to be included in the UCEED 2025 merit list?
A: 

Note that the Part B answer booklet will be evaluated only if the candidate qualifies Part A. Further, only such candidates who have qualified Part A will be shortlisted and allocated a merit rank. 

This means if the candidates fails to qualify Part A of UCEED 2025, they will not be issued any merit ranks. The scorecards of such candidates will merely includes Part A scores. In contrast, the screcards of shortlisted will include a merit rank, total and sectional scores. Further, all shortlisted candidates will be eligible to participate in UCEED 2025 and seat allotment.

Q:   Where can I check UCEED 2025 results?
A: 

The results for the UCEED 2025 exam will be announced online at uceed.iitb.ac.in. The direct result link will be provided in this article.

Note that the result will not be sent by post or any other means, including by email.

To check their results, the candidate needs to log in to the result portal using their email ID and password. 

The results of UCEED 2025 will be declared on March 7, 2025. IIT Bombay will release the draft answer key on Janaury 21, 2025, while the FINAL key will be released on January 29, 2025.

 

Q:   What is the minimum eligibility criteria to participate in UCEED 2025 counseling?
A: 

To participate in UCEED 2025 counseling, the candidate has to meet the following conditions:

  • Age limit - The candidate must be born on or after October 1, 2000

  • UCEED 2025 qualification - The candidate must have qualifed in the UCEED 2025 exam.

  • Qualifying exam - The candidate must have passed all five subjects in 10+ 2 or an equivalent exam in 2024 or 2025. Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam for the first time in 2023 or earlier are NOT eligible.

Q:   What is the validity of the UCEED 2025 scorecard?

The UCEED 2025 scorecard will be valid for a period of one year from the date of its release. The scorecard will be available for downloaded from March 10, 2025 onward.

Q:   What is the counselling registration fee for UCEED 2025?
A: 

The registration fee for UCEED counselling 2025 is INR 4,000. The fees has to be paid in online mode using payment modes like net banking, credit cards, and debit cards. Note that if the candidate has been allotted a seat during UCEED counseling 2025, the candidate will also have to pay the seat-acceptance fee, which is separte from the counseling fee. If the candidate fails to pay the seat-acceptance fee, then the allotment will be cancelled and allotted to the candidate next in the order of merit. The seat allotment process for UCEED 2025 will be held in three rounds. The seat allotment for Round I will be announced on April 10, 2025.

Design programme in Lovely Professional University is: Pass with 90% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English or equivalent or Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST or UCEED or Under Graduate NID-that (Prelims) or Under Graduate NIFT. The UCEED question paper will be of 3 hours and include two parts - The computer-based Part A and the offline-based Part B. It is mandatory for candidates to appear in both the paper. Also, Part B paper answer booklets will only be evaluated if the candidate qualifies Part A. IIT Bombay will release the cut-off marks for Part A before the declaration of results. Part A will include the following types of questions: Numerical Answer Type (NAT) Multiple Select Question (MSQ) Multiple Choice Question (MCQ). 

Note that IIT Bombay has revised the UCEED 2025 syllabus and UCEED 2025 exam pattern.

For instance, Part A will now include 57 questions (down from 68), while Part B will include 2 questions (up from 1).

UCEED 2025 Merit Rank - Tie-Breaker Rule

If the total marks secured by two or more candidates are the same, then the tie will be decided based on the tie-break policy.

The following are the rules of the tie-breaking policy for UCEED Result 2025:

  • A higher rank is awarded to the candidate who has scored higher marks in Part B.
  • If the tie is unresolved, then a higher rank will be given to a candidate who obtains higher marks in Section 2 of Part A.
  • If the tie is still undecided, the candidate with higher marks in Section 1 of Part A will be assigned a higher rank.
  • If the tie is still undecided, both candidates will be assigned the same rank.

Q:   What happens if two candidates score the same marks in UCEED 2025?
A: 

In case of a tie between two or more candidates with the same total marks, UCEED 2025 has a defined tie-breaking policy. The following criteria will be used in order of priority:

  • Higher marks in Part B of the exam will be considered first.

  • If the tie still persists, higher marks in Section 2 of Part A will be considered.

  • If there is still no resolution, higher marks in Section 1 of Part A will be taken into account.

  • If the tie remains unresolved, the candidate with an earlier date of birth will be given priority.

Q:   What if candidates have the same score even after applying all tie-breaking rules?
A: 

If two or more candidates have the same UCEED score after considering Part B, Section 2, Section 1, and date of birth, the final decision will be made by the examination authority. Such cases are extremely rare, and the committee ensures a fair and unbiased approach to resolve them.

Q:   What will be the mode of UCEED counseling?
A: 

The counseling for UCEED 2025 will be conducted online as a Joint Seat Allocation process. The counseling will be conducted in a centralized manner.

IIT Bombay will conduct counseling registration from the March 14-31, 2025; all candidates who qualify in the UCEED 2025 exam will be eligible to register for counseling.

The allotment of seats for admission to the B.Des programme offered by participating colleges is based on following parameters:

  • UCEED 2025 merit rank of the candidate
  • College option selected during registration.
Q:   Does the tie-breaking rule affect my All India Rank (AIR)?
A: 

Yes, the tie-breaking rule directly impacts your UCEED 2025 All India Rank. If multiple candidates have the same total score, the candidate meeting the higher priority criteria of the tie-breaking rules will be ranked higher on the merit list.

What next after the release of the UCEED 2025 scorecard

IIT Bombay will conduct a Joint Admission Process (counselling) for candidates who have qualified for the UCEED 2025 entrance exam.

Registrations for UCEED 2025 counselling were conducted from March 14 to April 03, 2025. All candidates who have been assigned a merit rank need to duly fill in and submit the online application form for admission to the B.Des program. To participate in the B.Des admission counseling through UCEED 2025, all applicants are required to pay a non-refundable application counselling processing fee of ₹4,000. 

The UCEED 2025 seat allotment process will be conducted in FIVE rounds. Seat allotment for Round I started on April 21, 2025. The allotment of seats is done as per the UCEED 2025 merit rank of the candidate.

Candidates are advised to download and save their scorecard well before the deadline to avoid any last-minute issues. Failure to do so may result in the inability to access the document later.

Q:   When will UCEED cutoff released for Round I?
A: 

The admission cut-off for Round I of UCEED 2025 will be released alongside the seat allotment results on April 21, 2025.

This will be followed by 2nd allotment on May 19, 2025. The 3rd round of allotment will be declared on June 10, 2025.

The cut-off has been released in the form of category-wise opening and closing ranks. Also, the cut-off is released for all the participating institutes. Candidates who meet the cut-off criteria will get admission to the B. Des programme. However, if the candidate fails to meet the cut-off criteria, he or she will be considered for admission in subsequent rounds. Note that UCEED 2025 counseling will have FIVE seat allotment rounds, and for each round a separate cut-off would be released.

Note that the Part A cut-off will be released on February 6, 2024.

Q:   What do I need to know about the UCEED 2025 question paper?
A:

Q:   Will there be any biometric verification at UCEED 2025 exam centre?

Yes, there will be biometric verification at the UCEED 2025 exam centre. The biometric information (thumb impression and photograph) will be collected from the candidate before the commencement of the exam. On exam day, the candidate needs to bring with them a valid photo id proof and the admit card. Note that the photo id proof must be in the original; photocopies will not be accepted. Note that the candidate needs to report at the UCEED 2025 exam centre at least 2 hours before the commencement of the exam.
