UCEED Scorecard 2024 - Candidates had to download the UCEED 2024 scorecard from March 11 - June 12, 2024. 

To download the UCEED 2024 scorecard, you had to log in using your email ID and password. 

 Note that the results of the UCEED 2024 were declared on March 8, 2024.

The scorecard contains information like Part A marks, category-wise qualifying marks for UCEED 2024, and the name and roll number of the candidate. However, common merit ranks (All India Ranks), Part B marks, and UCEED scores will be issued only for shortlisted candidates.

The validity of the scorecard is one year from the date of its release.

IIT Bombay conducted the UCEED 2024 entrance exam on January 21, 2024.

Q:   What details will be included in the UCEED 2024 scorecard?

A:

The scorecard of UCEED 2024 was released on March 11, 2024.

The scorecard includes the Part A score for all candidates. However, Part B, Total score, and merit ranks are issued only for candidates who have qualified in Part A. 

The scorecard is valid for a period of one year from the date of its release. Using the UCEED 2024 scorecard, the candidate can apply for admission to B. Des programs offered by both participating and result-sharing institutes.

The last date to download the scorecard is June 12, 2024.

 

Q:   Can I download the UCEED 2024 scorecard on result day?

A:

No, you will not be able to download the scorecard on result day (or March 8). In fact, the scorecards will be available for download only from March 11, 2024. 

The last date to download the scorecard is June 12, 2024.

The candidate needs to download and take a printout of the scorecard. Note that screen shots of the results will not be accepted in palce of the scorecard.

 

Q:   At what time will the UCEED 2024 results be declared?

A:

UCEED 2024 exam results were declared on March 8, 2024.

IIT Bombay declared the UCEED results 2024 at around 9.30 am. Note that the institute didn't give any prior intimation as to at what time the UCEED results would be declared.

Note that scorecards will be available for download from March 11, 2024. On result day, the candidate will only be able to see their qualifying status and scores. 

 

Q:   Does INIFD Andheri accept UCEED score?

A:

Yes INIFD Andheri accepts UCEED score. However, it is important to note that UCEED score is accepted by some institutes for undergraduate admission to the B.Des program. How to download the UCEED 2024 scorecard

The scorecard of UCEED 2024 was available for download from March 11-June 12, 2024. The steps to download the scorecard are given below:

  1. Click on the scorecard download link 
  2. You will be redirected to a log-in window
  3. Enter your email id and password
  4. On successful log-in, the scorecard will be displayed on the screen
  5. Download and take a printout of the scorecard.

Q:   Do I need to qualify Part A to be included in the UCEED 2024 merit list?

A:

Note that the Part B answer booklet will be evaluated only if the candidate qualifies Part A. Further, only such candidates who have qualified Part A will be shortlisted and allocated a merit rank. 

This means if the candidates fails to qualify Part A of UCEED 2024, they will not be issued any merit ranks. The scorecards of such candidates will merely includes Part A scores. In contrast, the screcards of shortlisted will include a merit rank, total and sectional scores. Further, all shortlisted candidates will be eligible to participate in UCEED 2024 and seat allotment.

 

Q:   Where can I check UCEED 2024 results?

A:

The results for the UCEED 2024 exam has been announced online at uceed.iitb.ac.in. The direct result link is also be provided in this article.

Note that the result will not be sent by post or any other means, including by email.

To check their results, the candidate needs to go to the result portal and log in using their email ID and password. 

The results of UCEED 2024 declared on March 8, 2024. IIT Bombay previously released the draft answer key on Janaury 23, while the FINAL key was released on January 31, 2024.

 

 

Q:   What is the minimum eligibility criteria to participate in UCEED 2024 counseling?

A:

To participate in UCEED 2024 counseling, the candidate has to meet the following conditions:

  • Age limit - The candidate must be born on or after October 1, 1999

  • UCEED 2024 qualification - The candidate must have qualifed in the UCEED 2024 exam.

  • Qualifying exam - The candidate must have passed all five subjects in 10+ 2 or an equivalent exam in 2023 or 2024. Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam for the first time in 2022 or earlier are NOT eligible.

Q:   What is the validity of the UCEED 2024 scorecard?

A:

The UCEED 2024 scorecard will be valid for a period of one year from the date of its release. The scorecard will be available for downloaded from March 11-June 12, 2024. 

It will contain the Part A marks for all candidates who appeared in the UCEED 2023 entrance exam. However, Part B, total marks, and merit ranks will be released only for candidates who qualify Part A.

A:

The registration fee for UCEED counselling 2024 is INR 4,000. The fees has to be paid in online mode using payment modes like net banking, credit cards, and debit cards. Note that if the candidate has been allotted a seat during UCEED counseling 2024, the candidate will also have to pay the seat-acceptance fee, which is separte from the counseling fee. If the candidate fails to pay the seat-acceptance fee, then the allotment will be cancelled and allotted to the candidate next in the order of merit. The seat allotment process for UCEED 2024 will be held in three rounds. The seat allotment for Round I will be announced on April 10, 2024.

Q:   Can I get direct admission in B. Design in Lovely Professional University with a good UCEED score without writing any other exams?

A:
The eligibility criteria for admission in the B. Design programme in Lovely Professional University is: Pass with 90% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English or equivalent or Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST or UCEED or Under Graduate NID-that (Prelims) or Under Graduate NIFT. Admission Criteria Merit in qualifying examination, subject to fulfilling eligibility criteria.
 

Q:   What do I need to know about the UCEED 2024 question paper?

A:

The UCEED question paper will be of 3 hours and include two parts - The computer-based Part A and the offline-based Part B. It is mandatory for candidates to appear in both the paper. Also, Part B paper answer booklets will only be evaluated if the candidate qualifies Part A. IIT Bombay will release the cut-off marks for Part A before the declaration of results. Part A will include the following types of questions: Numerical Answer Type (NAT) Multiple Select Question (MSQ) Multiple Choice Question (MCQ). 

Note that IIT Bombay has revised the UCEED 2024 syllabus and UCEED 2024 exam pattern.

For instance, Part A will now include 57 questions (down from 68), while Part B will include 2 questions (up from 1).

 

UCEED 2024 Merit Rank - Tie-Breaker Rule

If the total marks secured by two or more candidates are the same, then the tie will be decided based on the following tie-break policy:

  • A higher rank is awarded to the candidate who has scored higher marks in Part B
  • If the tie is unresolved, then a higher rank will be given to a candidate who obtains higher marks in Section 2 of Part A
  • In the tie is still undecided, the candidate with higher marks in Section 1 of Part A will be assigned a higher rank.
  • If the tie is still undecided, both candidates will be assigned the same rank.

Q:   What will be the mode of UCEED counseling?

A:

The counseling for UCEED 2024 is being conducted online as a Joint Seat Allocation process. Also, the counseling is consducted in a centralized manner.

IIT Bombay conducted counseling registration from March 14 - April 2, 2024; all candidates who qualified in the UCEED 2024 exam were eligible to register for counseling.

The allotment of seats for admission to the B.Des programme offered by participating colleges is based on following parameters:

  • UCEED 2024 merit rank of the candidate
  • College option selected during registration.
 

What next after the release of the UCEED 2024 scorecard

IIT Bombay will conduct a Joint Admission Process (counseling) for candidates who have qualified in the UCEED 2024 entrance exam.

Registrations for UCEED 2024 counseling were conducted from March 14-31, 2024. All candidates who have been assigned a merit rank need to duly fill in and submit the online application form for admission to the B.Des program.

The UCEED 2024 seat allotment process is conducted in FIVE rounds.

Seat allotment for Round I was announced on April 10, 2024. The 2nd and 3rd allotments were announced on May 10, 2024, and June 10, 2024, respectively.

The allotment of seats is done as per the UCEED 2024 merit rank of the candidate.

Q:   When will UCEED cutoff released for Round I?

A:

The admission cut-off for Round I of UCEED 2024 was released alongside the seat allotment results on April 10, 2024.

This will be followed by 2nd allotment on May 10, 2024. The 3rd round of allotment will be declared on June 10, 2024.

The cut-off has been released in the form of category-wise opening and closing ranks. Also, the cut-off is released for all the participating institutes. Candidates who meet the cut-off criteria will get admission to the B. Des programme. However, if the candidate fails to meet the cut-off criteria, he or she will be considered for admission in subsequent rounds. Note that UCEED 2024 counseling has three seat allotment rounds, and for each round a separate cut-off would be released.

Note that the Part A cut-off was released on February 8, 2024.

Yes, there will be biometric verification at the UCEED 2024 exam centre. The biometric information (thumb impression and photograph) will be collected from the candidate before the commencement of the exam. On exam day, the candidate needs to bring with them a valid photo id proof and the admit card. Note that the photo id proof must be in the original; photocopies will not be accepted. Note that the candidate needs to report at the UCEED 2024 exam centre at least 2 hours before the commencement of the exam.

The UCEED 2025 exam will be held tentatively in the 3rd week of January 2025, from 9 am - 12 noon. The exam date and timings will be mentioned on the UCEED 2025 admit card. 

On the day of the exam, the candidate needs to report at the exam centre as per the reporting time mentioned in the admit card.

As per instructions given on the admission portal, the candidate is not allowed to leave the exam hall until the exam is over.
