UCEED Participating Institutes 2024 - There are five participating institutes of UCEED 2024.
These institutes have a combined intake of 205 seats for the B.Des program. Admission to B.Des program offered by participating institutes will be based on UCEED 2024 merit rank. Note that scores of other entrance exams, including NIFT, NID DAT, SEED, etc. will not be considered for admission to the B.Des program at these institutes.
Additionally, UCEED 2024 scores will also be used by result-sharing institutes to fill some seats in their UG programs through UCEED. In the previous academic session, there were 23 result-sharing institutes.
A key difference between a participating institute and a result-sharing institute is that the former will participate in the Joint Admission Process (or centralized counseling) conducted by IIT Bombay. On the other hand, result-sharing institutes will not participate in the Joint Admission Process, and will instead conduct their own counseling process. So, candidates have to apply to each of these institutes separately based on their UCEED 2023 scores.
Further, the result-sharing institutes will only fill some of the seats based on UCEED scores; the remaining seats will be filled on the merit of other entrance exams.

There are FIVE participating institutes of UCEED 2024. The participating institutes offer B.Des courses and have an intake of 205 seats. Admission will be strictly on the basis of UCEED 2024 merit ranks.

Horizontal Reservation
- 5% of seats in each category will be reserved for PwD candidates.
- PwD candidates will be considered for seat allotment only in their birth category quota.
UCEED 2024 Result-sharing Institutes
The result-sharing institutes of UCEED 2024 will allot some seats in their UG programs for admission through UCEED 2024. The remaining seats will be filled on the basis of scores of other entrance exams.
Further, UCEED 2024 result-sharing institutes will not participate in the Joint Seat Allotment Process conducted by IIT Bombay. Instead, these institutes will conduct their own counseling at an institute level. The list of UCEED result-sharing institutes for the previous academic session is given below.

UCEED 2024 - JOINT Seat Allocation Process
The counseling for UCEED 2024 participating colleges will be conducted by IIT Bombay. The counseling process will be conducted online as a Joint Seat Allotment process. Candidates who have qualified UCEED 2024 and been assigned a merit rank in the design entrance exam can participate in the counseling process.
The allotment seats to the B.Des program will be based on the following factors:
- The UCEED 2024 merit rank
- Reservation category
- Seats available in each institute at the time of seat allocation.
- Choices of institutes picked at the time of filing the counseling application form.
The seat allotment process of UCEED 2024 will be conducted in THREE rounds. The seat acceptance fee is Rs. 60,000 for GEN/EWS/OBC-NCL category candidates. For SC/ST/PwD candidates, the acceptance fee is Rs. 15,000.

UCEED 2024 - Eligibility Criteria for admission
- Age limit - OPEN/EWS/OBC-NCL category candidates need to have been born on or after October 1, 1999. SC, ST or PwD category candidates must be born on or after October 1, 1993.
- UCEED 2023 qualification - The candidate must have qualified UCEED 2024 and obtained a merit rank.
- Qualifying examination - The candidate must have passed all five subjects in the qualifying exam (10+2 or equivalent) in 2023 or 2024. Candidates who have appeared in the qualifying exam for the first time in 2024 or earlier are not eligible for admission.
