With the results of UCEED 2024 now out, IIT Bombay will next publish the list of UCEED 2024 Toppers. The list will include the names of candidates who secured the top ranks in the exam, section-wise and total scores, registration numbers, and even personal details like hometown. To top it, we will bring you Topper Interviews!
UCEED 2024 Toppers - IIT Bombay declared the UCEED result on March 8, 2024. The results have been declared online at uceed.iitb.ac.in; use you email ID and password to check your results. Note that IIT Bombay will in the coming days also release the UCEED 2024 Topper List containing the names of the toppers, their UCEED ranks, and other key details. We will not only update the list once it is released but also bring you interviews of the toppers.

About UCEED 2024 exam
IIT Bombay conducted the UCEED exam on January 21, 2024 (9 am - 12 noon). The exam is conducted to shortlist candidates for admission to the B.Des program offered by participating colleges.

IIT Bombay will conduct the UCEED 2027 exam on January 17, 2027 from 9 AM- 12 PM. UCEED Test was conducted at the centres. The reporting time was 7 AM.
On the day of the UCEED Entrance exam, the candidate has to carry with them the admit card and a photo ID proof. These documents will be used to verify the identity of the candidate. Invigilators will be available at the exam center to verify the identity. Any candidate who fails the identification process may not be allowed to sit in the exam.
The UCEED 2026 exam will be held on January 18, 2026, from 9 am - 12 noon. The exam date and timings will be mentioned on the UCEED 2026 admit card.
On the day of the exam, the candidate needs to report to the exam centre as per the reporting time mentioned in the admit card. Note that latecomers may not be allowed entry inside the exam centre.
The candidate is also urged to carefully go through all the exam-day guidelines for a smooth exam-day experience.
For entry inside the exam hall, the candidate will need a valid ID proof and the admit card.
IIT Bombay usually doesn't make any arrangements like baggage counters. So, it is a good idea for candidates not be bring any unnecessary stuff with them to the exam centre. Also, if the candidate has any doubts, he or she must go through the exam-day guidelines published by exam officials to check if any special arrangements are being made. Since it is unlikely that there will be a baggage counter, the candidate can not afford to bring valuable items and leave it unattended outside the exam hall. It is because if any valuable item is lost, IIT Bombay will not take any responsibility.
The UCEED question paper has two mandatory parts - Part A and Part B.
Part A includes objective-type questions and was conducted in a computer-based mode; meanwhile, Part B was conducted in an offline mode.

UCEED 2024 Part A Cut-off marks
IIT Bombay released the cut-off marks for UCEED 2024 - Part A on February 8, 2024.
The mean and standard deviation for Part-A (UCEED 2024) are 43.91 and 23.03, respectively.
Here is what you need to know about Part A cut-off:
- Part A cut-offs are released category-wise.
- Part B answer booklets are evaluated only if the candidate meets Part A cut-off.
- All candidates who get meet the cut-off are assigned a UCEED 2024 merit rank
UCEED 2024 Topper List
IIT Bombay will release the list of UCEED 2024 toppers within a few day of the declaration of the UCEED 2024 results.
The topper list will include the names of the candidates securing the top rank, their total marks (out of 300), and roll number.
Commonly asked questions
The admission cut-off for UCEED 2026 will be released in last week of April, 2026.
The seat allotment will be released online at the UCEED 2026- IIT Bombay admission portal uceed.iitb.ac.in.
To download the seat allotment-cum-cutoff, you need to click on the seat allotment download button given under B. Des 1st Round of Seat Allotment heading. Note that no log-in is required to download the seat allotment results pdf.
Candidates who are allotted seats have to accept the seat and pay the fees. Note that candidates were also given the option to withdraw their seats.

UCEED 2024 Participating Colleges
IIT Bombay will conduct the counseling registration process for NIFT 2024 from March 14-31, 2024. The registration process will be conducted online as a Joint Seat Allotment process.
There will be THREE seat allotment rounds.
The 1st round of allotment will be announced on April 10, 2024.

The most difficult part can vary from student to student. In UCEED 2026, MSQs and some NAT questions were reported to be more challenging, while Part B was also time-consuming.

Yes, but drawing practice is important because Part B includes drawing questions. Candidates don't need professional-level drawing skills, but they should be able to communicate ideas clearly through sketches.

IIT Bombay UCEED cutoff 2026 was 16 for the General AI category in the last round. Hence, this category of students need a rank of at least 16 or lower to be qualified for admission. To know the IIT Bombay branch-wise cutoff 2026, students can check the table below.

Yes, 20 might be an excellent rank for gaining admission to the IIT Delhi BDes course if you belong to the General or OBC AI category. For both these categories, the last round closing ranks were 28 and 32, respectively.
