In this article, Shiksha has jotted down some important factors of NID placement. The National Institute of Design (NID) is one of the top design institutes. It conducts the NID Design Aptitude Test for admitting candidates to the Bachelor of Design (BDes) and Master of Design (MDes) courses offered by the participating institutes.

NIDs are some of the top design institutes in the country and offer B.Des and M.Des courses. One reason why the NIDs are such a big attraction for students is their stellar placement record. Graduates from the institutes also enjoy wide career opportunities. Here we discuss the placement record of the participating institutes, the step-wise process, and much more.

NID Placement

The NIDs are regarded among the best design institutes in the country. One major reason why NIDs are highly regarded is that they have some of the best placement records among their peers. This is to go with the high-quality education these institutes offer. Here, we discuss the NID placement report, how the placement process is conducted, average salary, and much more.

NID students pursue careers across a wide range of fields such as social communication, service design, craft design, green and sustainable design, universal design, technology-enhanced learning and experiential design. The design education at NID ensures that its graduates are recognised for their creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills both in India and globally. The NID B.Des course has an intake of 425 seats approximately and is offered at the following FIVE campuses - NID Ahmedabad, NID Andhra Pradesh, NID Haryana, NID Madhya Pradesh, and NID Assam. Be it in the fields of Graphic Design, Textile Design, Film and Video Communication, Exhibition Design, Furniture, and Interior Design, and Ceramic and Glass Design, a NID graduate generally gets placed with an average package of 17-18 lakhs.

NID DAT registration opens in September. The application forms are available on the official website. NID Entrance Exam is conducted in December for UG and PG programmes. Go through the rest of the article to learn the full details of NID placement.
