COMEDK Eligibility Criteria 2026 – Engineering Course
The authority has announced the COMEDK UGET eligibility criteria 2026 through the official notification. The following section has been updated with the COMEDK 2026 eligibility criteria 2026:
- The qualifying examinations prescribed for admission for B.E./B.Tech is second PUC or 10+2 Higher Secondary or equivalent examination recognised by the State / Central Government; the last two years of study shall comprise Physics, Chemistry (or Biotechnology or Biology or Computer Science or Electronics) and Mathematics with English as a compulsory subject.
- The General Merit candidates should have passed with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% in respect of SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka State) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and should have passed these subjects individually. Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Computer Science or Electronics as one of the optional subjects. However, changes, if any, in the eligibility criteria by the AICTE/VTU will be adopted.
- An attempt in the COMEDK Entrance Test seeking admission to Engineering courses is considered adequate for figuring in the rank list.
- Diploma candidates are not eligible to take the Entrance Test as there are no lateral entry admissions.

No Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka will not allow to choose their COMEDK exam centre. Candidates can only select their exam city preference at the time of filling the application form. The exam authority will allot COMEDK exam centre as per the choices filled by candidates at the time of registration.

Any candidate with at least 1 mark in the COMEDK UGET exam will be allotted a rank in the exam. Only those who obtain 0 marks will not be given any rank.
Candidates can calculate their COMEDK UGET 2026 probable marks using the answer key and response sheets. Students have to compare the two and using the official marking scheme to calculate their tentative scores.
COMEDK Eligibility Criteria 2026 – Architecture Course
- The prescribed qualifying examination for admission to B. Arch course is second PUC or 10+2
- The candidates should have passed an examination at the end of the 10+2 scheme of examination with at least 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (45% for SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka) as compulsory subjects and also at least 50% marks in aggregate of the 10+2 level examination (45% for SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka) or passed 10+3 Diploma examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka) and should have passed these subjects individually.
- All the candidates (including SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka) seeking admission to B.Arch. shall pass the aptitude test in architecture conducted either by NTA (i.e. JEE Main) or NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) conducted by the Council of Architecture. Qualification in NATA is subject to the candidate getting at least cut-off marks in two individual components and also getting at least the qualifying marks in aggregate. Candidates who have passed any other aptitude test in Architecture conducted by other authorities shall also be required to qualify NATA or JEE in order to be eligible for admission to B. Arch course. Only NATA or JEE scores will be considered for preparing the merit list along with marks of qualifying examination.
- There shall be no Entrance Test conducted by COMEDK for candidates seeking admission to BArch Course.
- Candidates seeking admission to B.Arch course shall submit a separate application form for counselling as per the notification on the COMEDK website (which will be made available before counselling).
COMEDK UGET Application Form 2026
The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka will release the COMEDK UGET application form 2026 on the website, comedk.org. The authority is expected to begin the COMEDK 2026 registration by February 2026. The application process of COMEDK UGET 2025 comprises registration, filling form, uploading documents and payment of the fee. Applicants can fill out the form only through the COMEDK UGET login 2026. The COMEDK UGET application form will be available online only for a limited period. Therefore, students must apply before the last date by completing all the required steps. Students must fulfil the COMEDK eligibility criteria 2026 to fill out the COMEDK application form.
