Cyber Security is the field of study that focuses on methods required to prevent computer systems and networks from leaking information, vandalising hardware, software, or electronic data, and misdirecting the services they provide. You can pursue various courses in Cyber Security, including BSc/B.E/BTech/Diploma upon completion of your Higher Secondary Certificate (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) and Computer Science as compulsory subjects, from a recognized board of education. You can choose to do an MSc/MTech/PG Diploma after completing an undergraduate program in the field, with a minimum of 50% aggregate.

- BE/BTech in Cyber Security is a four-year, full-time program offered by renowned universities all over India. It focuses on an extensive understanding of Cyber Crime, Network Security, Intrusion, Detection, and Prevention applications, along with the Design and Evaluation of Algorithms.
- Scope of Cyber Security in India: There are multiple opportunities in Information Security for people with an educational background in Cyber Security.
