Schedule of AILET 2026 Fourth Merit List
The schedule of merit lists will be issued as per the notification to be released for AILET counselling, at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. The fourth merit lists for BA LLB (Hons.) and LLM will be made available as separate PDFs. Candidates will have to visit the website to access the list.
No, candidates were not allowed to appear for the examination without a valid photo ID. Candidates were advised to keep the following three things ready with them, a day before the examination; a valid photo ID proof, AILET admit card 2026, and a recent passport-sized photograph. These were the mandatory documents to be produced during entry to the AILET exam centre. The valid photo identity card which would be allowed at the AILET 2026 exam centre include Aadhaar card/ Driving Licence/ PAN Card/ Passport/ Voter Id. The admit card should also have the passport and postcard-sized photographs pasted on it.
Candidates can submit maximum 3 preferences for AILET centre. Choosing preference for exam centre is mandatory to submit AILET application. Candidates will get to know about allotment of exact centre once the admit card is released. The NLU Delhi releases admit card online comprising crucial details about exam including name and address of AILET centre. The admit card can be downloaded from the official website after its release. To download AILET admit card, candidates need application ID, password, and Exam Unique Code (EUC).
The fourth merit list is smaller than the other merit lists, catering to vacancies left after the third round of the counselling and seat allotment. No. National Law University (NLU) Delhi only accept online application form for AILET 2026 exam. The application form for AILET (All India Law Entrance Test) is submitted online through the official website. The application process starts with online registration. Candidates have to register on the website, fill in the application form, upload the necessary documents, and pay the application fee online. Before applying online, candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria set by NLU Delhi.
To qualify for AILET, you will have to score above or equal to the AILET cut-off according to your category. If you do not qualify for the exam, you can reappear for it next year if you want to study BA LLB (Hons.), BCom LLB (Hons.) or LLM at NLU Delhi. If you want to take the exam again, you can opt for one of the following options:
- Take other law entrance exams, such as LSAT India, SLAT or any of the state-level law entrance tests.
- Apply for admission to colleges accepting AILET scores.
- You can apply for admission to colleges that accept merit-based admission. The merit-based admission process refers to the process in which colleges consider your marks in the qualifying exam (Class 12 marks for UG courses and graduation marks for PG courses).
Always remember that you should not apply for admission to a college that has not been recognised by UGC.
