Schedule of AILET 2026 Fourth Merit List
The schedule of merit lists will be issued as per the notification to be released for AILET counselling, at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. The fourth merit lists for BA LLB (Hons.) and LLM will be made available as separate PDFs. Candidates will have to visit the website to access the list.
The fourth merit list is smaller than the other merit lists, catering to vacancies left after the third round of the counselling and seat allotment. The final merit List for BA LLB is expected to be released in May 2026 at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in during the counselling. Candidates can check the complete schedule here.

To apply for AILET 2027, candidates will have to visit the National Law University Delhi website. Use the active email address to register. Log in again to upload the necessary documents and enter the required details.
No, candidates were not allowed to appear for the examination without a valid photo ID. Candidates were advised to keep the following three things ready with them, a day before the examination; a valid photo ID proof, AILET admit card 2026, and a recent passport-sized photograph. These were the mandatory documents to be produced during entry to the AILET exam centre. The valid photo identity card which would be allowed at the AILET 2026 exam centre include Aadhaar card/ Driving Licence/ PAN Card/ Passport/ Voter Id. The admit card should also have the passport and postcard-sized photographs pasted on it.
Candidates can submit maximum 3 preferences for AILET centre. Choosing preference for exam centre is mandatory to submit AILET application. Candidates will get to know about allotment of exact centre once the admit card is released. The NLU Delhi releases admit card online comprising crucial details about exam including name and address of AILET centre. The admit card can be downloaded from the official website after its release. To download AILET admit card, candidates need application ID, password, and Exam Unique Code (EUC).
What after AILET 2026 Fourth Merit List?
Candidates will have to consider their scores and ranks to decide what to do after the release of fourth merit list.
If you find your name on the Merit List, then,
- Verify your name and selection- Candidates must crosscheck their rank, category and course opted for.
- Download the admission letter- Visit the website and download your admission letter mentioning the reporting dates, documents required, fees payment instructions, etc.
- Pay the admission fee- Visit the college and complete the admission fee payment along with submitting the required documents and confirm your seat.

The fourth merit list has the same format as the previous lists, displaying ranks and important details for shortlisted candidates. Candidates will be able to find their rank, roll number, program opted and category as selected.
