Commonly asked questions
Q:   Are the question papers for both SLAT Test 1 and SLAT Test 2 different?
A:

Yes, the question paper of the SLAT exam for the test conducted on each day is different, even if two or more candidates take the exam in the same year. However, the pattern of the exam will be the same for each test conducted on that day. Candidates on both test days receive the same time limit of 60 minutes to answer all questions. These questions are asked in five sections, Analytical Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning, General Knowledge, and Reading Comprehension. Candidates will not lose any marks for a wrong answer. Thus, all exam takers have the facility to select the answer to a question as per their knowledge without considering the penalty of a score reduction while solving the SLAT exam question paper.

Q:   What are the important topics from which questions are in the SLAT exam?
A:

The important topics for the SLAT are different for the different sections of the exam question papers. The important topics for the SLAT Analytical Reasoning section are related to finding relationships between people, situations, or objects and finding solutions to various problems related to them. Other important topics related to this section are reasoning concepts based on charts, graphs, grouping, data, sequencing, and selection. The important topics associated with the Logical Reasoning section of the SLAT India exam are concepts based on statements and assumptions or syllogisms, deductions, inferences, flaws and errors identification, clock, calendar, Venn diagram, blood relation cubes, seating arrangements, coding and decoding, and logical matching. The best topics to prepare for the Reading Comprehension section are based on knowledge of English grammar, vocabulary, and idioms and phrases. Candidates can also read news articles to enhance their reading ability and comprehension of the English language and prepare for the SLAT Reading Comprehension section. In the General Knowledge section of the entrance exam, questions are asked from static GK topics and current affairs.
