SLAT Overview
SLAT, short for Symbiosis Law Admission Test, is an entrance exam that Symbiosis International University conducts for admission to BA LLB and BBA LLB courses. In 2023, SLAT Test 1 will be conducted on May 6, 2023. However, SLAT Test 2 in 2023 will be conducted on May 14. The mode of both tests will be computer-based test (CBT).

As per one of the candidates, Vikas Kumar Tripathi, General Knowledge was the most difficult section of SLAT 2023. Questions from books and their authors' names were asked in the GK section of the SLAT 2023 exam. According to another candidate, Navya Khurrana, the questions in the GK section were static. Questions in this section were also related to the ancient and mediaeval history of India. Questions in the GK section were also associated with the Ukraine-Russia War. Most of the exam takers considered GK the toughest section of the SLAT 2023 exam.
Vanshika, a SLAT 2023 exam taker at one of the centres in Delhi, considered SLAT 2023 easier than CLAT. According to her, the Logical Reasoning and Analytical Reasoning sections were very easy. Reading Comprehension was the easiest section in SLAT 2023. Questions related to articles from newspapers like "The Hindu" and "Times of India" were asked in the Reading Comprehension section of SLAT 2023. Like previous year, the questions of mathematics were also asked in the entrance examination. The level of difficulty of these questions was up to Class 10 Math questions.

SLAT 2022 was conducted on July 3, 2023, in a computer-based test mode. - The mathematics questions were related to topics like simple interest, compound interest, percentage, and profit and loss.
- Reading Comprehension was the most difficult section in the exam because questions from tricky and advanced vocabulary were asked in it.
- In the General Knowledge section, the questions that were asked from the general awareness topic were particularly related to the year 2019.
- According to the test takers, the computer-based mode of the test was highly convenient. It saved them the time and effort involved in answering the questions.
- The overall difficulty level of the exam was between easy and moderate.
