As per the Andhra Pradesh ICET marking scheme:
- for every correct answer, the candidate will get one mark.
- there will be no negative marking for any wrong answer or not attempted questions.
As per the Andhra Pradesh ICET exam pattern, the question paper will consist of 200 MCQs, of one mark each. There will be no sectional time limit. Candidates can start answering from any section they are comfortable with. The Andhra Pradesh ICET exam is conducted for a duration of 150 minutes.
Candidates cannot download the APICET question paper soon after appearing for the exam. The official question paper is released along with the release of the preliminary answer key and response sheet. Candidates can access the APICET question paper here. No, all the questions in the APICET question paper will be objective type questions and will be in MCQ format. Candidates will be given four options for each question. Candidates will have to select the correct option for each question. Andhra Pradesh ICET question paper will consist of 200 multiple-choice questions. Each question will be for one mark. There will be no negative marking for any wrong answers. Candidates will have to attempt the 200 questions in 150 minutes. There will be no sectional time limit to attempt the AP ICET exam sections. AP ICET 2027 exam will be held in first week of May 2027 in computer based mode across 25 districts of Andhra Pradesh.
To be eligible for a rank and participate in counselling, candidates must meet the minimum qualifying marks.
- General Category: Candidates must secure at least 25% marks, which is 50 out of 200.
- SC/ST Categories: There are no prescribed minimum qualifying marks for these categories.

AP ICET Marks Vs Rank Analysis: Tie-Breaking Policy
In instances where two or more candidates achieve the same score, a specific tie-breaker protocol is followed to assign rank.
- Section A Marks: Priority is given to the candidate with higher marks in Analytical Ability.
- Section B Marks: If the tie remains, marks in Communication Ability are considered.
- Age: If a tie still persists, the older candidate is given priority in ranking.
