ATMA exam 2026 will be conducted on multiple dates and sessions. AIMS announced the February 2026 session date online. ATMA 2026 exam for the February session will be conducted on February 22, 2026. The exam will be conducted in the computer based test mode across various exam centres.

ATMA 2026 exam schedule was announced by AIMS. The ATMA registration date 2026 for the February session is December 1, 2025, to February 10, 2026. The application fee window will close on February 9, 2026.

Once the candidates have filled and submitted the ATMA application form, no changes can be made once the form has been submitted. 

The August ATMA registration 2025 last date was August 24, 2025. The exam was held on August 30. The ATMA application form was available online at atmaaims.com. The application schedule is announced on the website of ATMA AIMS. The ATMA application process begins with ATMA application fee payment. Students need to submit their ATMA application form before the deadline.

There is no age limit to appear for ATMA. The ATMA exam is open for fresh graduates as well as working professionals. Set your plan right. Work on your plan and identify your weakness and strength. Get the right study material. Try to plan and identify the above-stated things within a week. Set your plan agile and keep buffer time for revision and solving mock test papers.
Start with your verbal and quantitative practice in parallel. 3 months can make or change the game; time management is very important at every single point of time till the final day and even on the day.
Keep positive! Solve questions in a specified time frame. This will help you in doing questions on time. Maintain a good balance between your accuracy and solving time.

ATMA syllabus includes all the important topics of subjects that are relevant for business and general aptitude. For ATMA exam, candidates have to study, Verbal Ability, Quantitative Ability and Analytical Reasoning. Given below are the key topics included in the ATMA syllabus: -The Verbal Ability section of ATMA exam syllabus includes various topics of Grammar, Word Meaning, Vocabulary, Parajumbles, Fill in the Blanks, Sentence Completion, Synonyms and Antonyms, Reading Comprehension, etc. The Quantitative Aptitude section of ATMA syllabus includes all the topics of Mathematics from Class 9 to 10 such as Arithmetic, Geometry, Algebra Trigonometry Modern Math, Number System and Mensuration. The Analytical Reasoning syllabus of ATMA exam includes topics that require analytical interpretation of data presented in the form of Puzzles, Pie Charts, Venn Diagram, Tables and Bar Graphs.

The ATMA exam is held for three hours or 180 minutes. There is only one slot for the ATMA exam. ATMA exam has a sectional time limit of 30 minutes. This means, that the candidates will have approximately one minute to solve each question. Candidates must take care of saving their answers at every step as the moment 30 minutes will get over, the screen will automatically move to the next section. There is no provision of changing the exam slot. And there is no provision to apply for the same. Candidates will have to appear for the exam from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Candidates must make sure that they reach the ATMA exam centre by 1:00 PM in order to complete the frisking formalities at the entry gate. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam centre beyond 1:30 PM.

The medium of ATMA question paper is English. The pattern of the ATMA exam has not changed from the past few years. The latest ATMA question paper pattern is as follows:

• ATMA exam will be conducted in the CBT test mode. 
• Duration of the exam is 3 hours.
• Exam consists of 180 Multiple Choice Questions carrying one mark each.
• Total marks are 180. 
• Questions are from three sections, i.e. Analytical Reasoning Skills, Verbal Skills, and Quantitative Skills.
• There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for incorrect answers.

AIMS conducts the ATMA exam at least three to four times a year. This year, the exam will be conducted thrice in the computer-based test mode. Here are important topics for the exam according to the sections of ATMA question paper.

ATMA admit card will be available online on the ATMA AIMS website. Students who have submitted the ATMA application form before the last date can download their ATMA admit cards.

But, if they have not paid the ATMA application fee, then they will not be eligible to download the ATMA admit card. So, they must complete the ATMA application process in order to download the ATMA admit card. Students should upload clear documents in the format prescribed. 

To login, students will need PID number and password. Here is how to retrieve the password. 

1. Go to ATMA AIMS website
2. Click on the login portal
3. Now, click on the Forgot password button.
4. Select exam date
5. Select the detail that needs to be retrieved. 
6. Enter the date of birth, registered mobile number and email ID which were used at the time of ATMA registration.
7. Enter the captcha code and click on the Find PID and Password button. Students will get a reset link on their registered email Id and mobile number.
8. Click on the reset link and they will be redirected to a new webpage where they can set a new password.

Students appearing for the ATMA exam must carry a coloured copy of the ATMA admit card. They must paste a recent coloured passport size photograph on the admit card. They must also carry a blue or black ball point pen to the exam centre. They must not carry any other stationery item to the ATMA test centre.

No other item such as bags, watches, food, etc. will be allowed inside the ATMA exam centre. They must also not carry notes or rough paper to the ATMA exam centre. If anyone is found with a prohibited item, he or she will be disqualified.

Aspirants should start preparing for the ATMA exam at least six months before the test date. ATMA preparation requires planning thus one must start early. ATMA cutoff is released by the participating institutes after the announcement of the ATMA result. More than 500 MBA colleges accept ATMA scores. ATMA scores are accepted for other courses such as MCA and MS as well. The ATMA cut-off is different for all institutes and courses. These cutoffs will be available on the official website of each participating college or institute. Candidates who have appeared for the ATMA exam must meet the cutoff of their preferred institute in order to gain admission to that particular institute. According to the previous cutoff trends, the ATMA cutoff generally ranges from 75 to 90 percentile in the top colleges accepting ATMA. Last year, the highest ATMA cutoff was for PUMBA, Pune. Shortlisted candidates who match the cutoff will be called for further selection procedure, which includes, Written Ability Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

ATMA cut offs are not announced along with the ATMA result. Individual participating institutes release their own cutoff and they are known after a few days of result announcement when the colleges start their shortlisting process. The ATMA scores and percentiles of the candidates shortlisted for Written Ability Test (What) and Personal Interview PI can be considered the cut off for the participating institute. ATMA cutoff is a major criteria for students to get admissions to their desired colleges. According to the previous years, the ATMA cutoff in the top institutes generally range from 75 percentile to 95 percentile. The ATMA cutoff varies from one institute to another. Some of the top institutes such as JIMS, Rohini, Jaipuria Institute of Management, Noida, IMS, Ghaziabad are expected to have ATMA cutoff of 80-85 percentile this year.

Yes, ATMA cut offs are different for different institutes. The ATMA cut offs are fixed by the institutes individually on the basis of several parameters. Thus, the candidates must visit their preferred institute website and check the ATMA cut off percentile required, before applying for admission. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their names in the merit lists released by the colleges accepting ATMA scores on the official websites of the institutes.

ATMA score is determined on the basis of correct answers marked by students in the ATMA exam. For each correct answer, they are awarded one mark. For an incorrect answer, 0.25 marks are deducted from the total score.

This means that for four incorrect answers, one mark is deducted from the total score. The raw score of students is scaled with reference to the total number of students appearing in the exam.

The ATMA percentile is percentage of students among those who have appeared for the exam and scored below the students in that category. That is, if a student has scored 53 per cent, this means that 53 per cent of students who have appeared in ATMA exam scored below him or her. 

ATMA result is usually released within a week from the exam. ATMA July result 2025 was released on August 2, 2025. The August session result will be released on September 4, 2025. ATMA result for the June exam was released on June 7, 2025. The July session result will be released on August 2, 2025. The February 2025 exam result was released on February 22, 2025.

No, after the ATMA exam is cleared, candidates will have to go through for further selection procedure conducted by the participating institutes. The ATMA scores are accepted in over 750 management colleges for admission to MBA/PGDM and MCA programmes. Candidates need to meet the cutoff criteria of the participating institutes to take admissions. The admission process includes Written Ability Test (What), Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interview (PI). After the ATMA result declaration, top colleges which accept the ATMA scores start the shortlisting process. The ATMA scores are accepted in over 750 MBA/PGDM and MCA colleges. ATMA exam will be held in about 100 cities across India. Candidates can choose up to three cities as their preferred test location. The candidates should choose the test cities in order of their preference. Registered students can know the details about their allotted ATMA exam centre through the admit card. Important details such as the allotted exam centre name, address and more details will be made available through the ATMA admit card. Therefore, students have to download the admit card and check the details carefully. 

There are over a 100 ATMA test centres across the country. These cities consist of metropolitan cities, capital cities, Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities. Candidate can select up to three cities for allotment of test centre. The process of test city selection is a part of ATMA application process. In the ATMA application form, there is a field in which candidates have to select the cities. They need to select the city of preference in order of 1 to 3. The examination authorities will try to allot the test centre in the city of first preference. Thus, candidates must fill all the three cities carefully. They must choose their home city or city of current residence as the first preference. Once the application form has been submitted, the request for change of the city will not be accepted by the exam authorities.
