Saras Suhane has topped CMAT 2017 with 100 percentile (overall score: 350). Laganjit Das, who stood second, has also scored 100 percentile overall (overall score: 329).
Six other candidates have scored 99.99 percentile (overall) and two women candidates have found their place in top 10. Khushboo Raghani, ranked 7th, scored 99.99 percentile (overall) and Medha Sharma, ranked 10th, scored 99.98 percentile (overall).
The result of all India common entrance test for management was declared today.
The Common Management Aptitude Test conducted by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) has released the merit list of students who were successful in the exam held on January 28, 2017. The test-takers can log on to the official website to check their sectional and overall percentile.

The candidates can download the electronically generated score card from the official website between February 9 and March 8, 2017. Separate scorecards will not be sent by email or by post to the candidates.
CMAT, conducted by AICTE, is held at 62 exam centres across the country. Marks scored in CMAT are valid for admissions to various management courses in B-Schools across the country.
Till 2015, the online exam was held twice a year (February and September), but since then the practice has been abolished as AICTE decided to hold the exam once a year in January.
75555 candidates registered for CMAT 2016 with the exam registering 86% attendance. Ludhiana boy Jugad Singh Grewal topped the list with a perfect 100 percentile.

After the result is declared the candidates are invited for counselling by the institutes accepting CMAT scores, on the basis of marks obtained in the exam. In case there’s no counselling, the admissions are conducted on the basis of CMAT score only.

Yes, it is important to practice sectional mock tests as the exam has no time limit for each section, unlike CAT. Sectional mocks will help you in have a practice of solving each section in a time bound manner.
