The CMAT 2022 exam was quite easy. Quant section, LR section and verbal sections were very easy and scoring. On the contrary, GK was very tough. I am from commerce background so it was helpful to me in solving Inoovation and entrepreneurship. It might not be helpful for engineers. In Quants section, there were a couple of wrong questions. CMAT cut off can go up to 320.

If u compare CMAT with CAT and XAT, it was easier. If someone is skeptical about whether they give the CMAT or not to get a good college them I will surely suggest them to give this exam. According to the time given the paper was easy and could be solved within the given time period.

Q:   Which are the most important topics to focus for CMAT preparation?
A:
CMAT exam pattern has five main sections: quant, data interpretation, logical reasoning, verbal ability and general knowledge. CMAT syllabus revolves around Basic Mathematics (mostly arithmetic from standard 1 to 10), Reasoning and Reading Comprehension. Mathematics First prepare topics related to basic school arithmetic. Then move on to advanced topics like: Permutation Combination Probability Trigonometry Geometry Progressions Logarithms English Pay attention to the following topics while preparing for CMAT exam: Reading comprehensions Vocabulary building Grammatical concepts Fill in the blanks Jumbled sentences General Knowledge Students are advised to follow the leading newspapers to stay updated on current affairs. A daily habit of spending 30 to 40 minutes on newspapers is a good long-term investment. For static General Knowledge, students can use any good reading material and memorise as much as possible. You can refer to this link for more information about CMAT exam: https://www.shiksha.com/mba/exams/cmat All the best.
Q:   How many questions should I solve to get a good score in CMAT?
A:

Since every section of CMAT has 20 questions in total, solving 15 to 18 questions in each section with 80 percent accuracy is considered a good attempt in CMAT, and it can ensure a good percentile in the exam. In the GK section, about 10 to 12 correct attempts will be enough. Out of 100 questions, candidates must try to solve about 70 to 75 questions to achieve a 99 percentile. However, candidates must aim to solve a higher number of questions with maximum accuracy and minimize negative marking. To be able to achieve this target, candidates have to prepare for the CMAT in a disciplined manner. Candidates must set aside about three months to complete the CMAT syllabus, as they have to study five subjects and their numerous topics. If they have appeared for CAT, XAT, and IIFT exams, then they can complete the CMAT syllabus in one month as well. However, it is advised that candidates spend at least three months on CMAT syllabus for complete preparation.

The exam was overall nice. The Quant section was easy. The LR section was easy. I faced difficulty in GK and also in Innovation and Entrepreneurship as this section was new to me.

CMAT 2022 was pretty easy. I thought it would be tough but it was not that much difficult. The difficulty level was low. For me, Maths is very difficult so the section was tougher compared to other sections. And the new section – Innovation and Entrepreneurship was scoring. Reasoning was also good. Maths was also not that difficult but I wasn’t prepared. Time limit was enough. I will get pretty decent marks. I’ll appear for this exam next year also, this year I was just testing it.

The exam was easy. The DI part was a bit lengthy and calculative. Apart from that, I found English and LR easy and GK was easy to moderate. Innovation and Entrepreneurship was good, you could make out the answer from the question and could eliminate wrong options. Overall, the CMAT 2022 question paper was easy to moderate. Compared to all the MBA entrance exams, CMAT was the easiest.
