CMAT 2026 toppers’ list – The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared CMAT 2026 result today. Names of toppers will be out soon. Shiksha will share here CMAT 2026 toppers list with their names, scores and AIR.
According to NTA, a total of 53453 candidates registered for CMAT 2026 and 41, 872 appeared for the exam. The CMAT 2026 exam was held on January 25, 2026 in a single shift as the number of applications were way to low this year. Last year, the total number of test takers was 74012 and the total number of qualifying candidates was 63145.

CMAT cutoff refers to minimum percentile required for admission to a particular college. Score accepting colleges determine the cut offs individually based on certain parameters. CMAT cut offs for top colleges like JBIMS, SIMSREE, PUMBA are generally 99 percentile and above.

Commonly asked questions
NTA does not release CMAT cut off. It has no role in release of CMAT cut off or admission through it. The CMAT cut offs are determined and released by score accepting colleges individually. The institutes either release CMAT cut off at the time of applications for admission or announce it during the PI shortlisting process.

What After CMAT 2026 Result?
With CMAT 2026 scores in hand, candidates should start shortlisting colleges for admission. CMAT participating colleges releases their cut offs and admission forms between February and July. Candidates can check out the admission schedule of their target college and apply accordingly. CMAT admission process includes Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). Candidate should prepare for it in these months. CMAT score can also be used for admission to Maharashtra MBA colleges through MAH CET CAP. Those who wish to seek admission through MAH CET must wait for MBA CAP 2026 round registration to start in July.
