MAT 2018 cut-offs

Once MAT 2018 September is over, AIMA, the conducting body of the exam will release the cut-off scores of the exam. The cut-off scores are used by institutes who accept the MAT scores for admission to MBA programmes offered by them. 

MAT 2018 September scores will be accepted by more than 300 institutes. It must be noted that many institutes also take into consideration MAT composite score cut-off and MAT sectional score cut-offs apart from the cut-offs released.

Test-takers who appear for MAT 2018 September exam will be able to apply to various colleges on the basis of the scores they obtain the exam. Once the cut-offs are released by respective colleges, test-takers need to check the college to which they are eligible to apply. Once this is known, they need to apply to that particular college to secure admission in MBA.

MAT exam duration is 120 minutes or 2 hours. Candidates have to solve 150 questions in the given time limit. There is no sectional time limit in MAT.

MAT exam is held multiple times in a year. There are four MAT phases- February, May, August and December. In each of these months, the exam is conducted at least twice – 1 PBT and 1 CBT.

The overall difficulty level of MAT is easy to moderate. Despite having 150 questions, the test paper is usually doable and candidates can easily attempt 100-120 questions.

Yes, MAT exam is MCQ types. There are no subjective type or TITA questions. Every question carries 4 answer options. Candidates have to select one option as correct answer.

Yes, CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/GMAT scores are valid for KIITEE MBA. Candidates applying online will be required to submit copies of their mark sheets and other supporting documents.
