Management Aptitude Test or MAT is conducted by AIMA (All India Management Association) for admissions to over 600 management colleges across the country.
The common aptitude test is conducted four times in a year. The last exam for MAT 2016 is scheduled to be held in December.
MAT is conducted in two formats: pen and paper mode and online mode.
Mat 2016 December will be held on December 11, 2016 in pen and paper mode and December 17, 2016 in online mode. Result of the same has been announced.

The result can be accessed only through the official website and will not be notified to any candidate through email or post. Candidates can download their scorecards from the official website.
Here’s are the steps to download the score card:
- Visit the official website
- On the homepage, look for the ‘result’ link, and click on the same
- Enter roll number, application number and select month of exam from the drop down
- The scorecard will appear on the screen
The candidates must save a hard copy of their score card in order to apply for admissions to MBA colleges of their choice.
MAT is a standardised common entrance test being administered since 1988 to facilitate Business Schools to screen candidates for admission to MBA and allied programmes. Government of India, Ministry of HRD approved MAT as a national level test in 2003.
