Well, now that you have taken the MAT 2020 exam doesn’t mean that you can sit back, stretch your legs and enjoy. There’s still work to be done.
After the exam is over, the next thing you should be focusing on is getting an idea about your percentile score. The reason is that this can be beneficial in knowing which colleges you can apply. I know, this is not an easy task to pinpoint your exact score but rather, at least try to get a range. Getting an exact score is possible only when the results arrive or when the answer key gets published. If you are capable of getting a range, the advantage is that you can get an idea of the college that you are capable of applying to. At the same time, if you feel that your MAT score won’t fall in the range that you are looking for, you can immediately start working on your next entrance exam or if you are willing to repeat the exam in the next few months, you are welcome to try that as well.
In the event preparing for the next exam, the one thing that you should keep in mind is not to repeat the mistakes that you have made in the previous exam. This can be identified once you get the answer key. I know that a lot of students might not want to find out what went wrong and would like to just focus on the final score. Believe me, I am one of them. But the advantage is that once you know what went wrong, it is easier for you to prepare for the next exam that you are appearing, be it MAT or whatever it may be.

Another thing that you should keep in mind is to not get disheartened if you think that you haven’t done well in the exam. By doing so, you are just making yourself worse. After all, it is just an exam, it is not the end of life. A lot of successful people are present in this world. If you were to read their life stories, the one thing that they all have in common is a failure. So, just let it go, and build up the will power to crack the exam in the next attempt.
One more thing that I would like to share with my friends is that you guys might apply for a lot of exams. Just because you score high in one of the exams doesn’t mean that you skip all the exams that come after it. You never know what might be waiting for you in the future. The point that I am trying to pinpoint here is that you might have a chance of studying in a better college even if you score a little lower in the next exam. Obviously, this might depend on the exam that you are attending, but try to attend all the exams that you have registered for.

The MAT scorecard is generally valid for one year from the date of result declaration.
This means you can use the same MAT score for MBA/PGDM admissions in the same academic year or the very next admission cycle, depending on the month you took the test (e.g., September/December scores often cover tw

There is no minimum passing marks in MAT. Anybody scoring more than 0 marks is eligible for admission. However, since MAT admission is cut off based, merely passing the exam will not ensure selection.
