Details Filled in TG ICET Application Form 2026

TGCHE has divided the details to be edited in the ICET application form into three categories. Candidates are allowed to edit details from ‘Category 1’ using the TGICET application form correction window. Category 2 details can be modified; however, candidates have to send an email for the same. Category 3 details are not applicable for modification. Candidates who made errors while filling the category 3 details have to fill the application form again.

TG ICET 2026 Application Form Correction Process

TGCHE facilitates the TGICET application form correction online on the official website, icet.tgche.ac.in. The process for TG ICET form correction depends on which category the error falls under. TG ICET form correction for Category 1 details can be done via the login dashboard.

Login credentials required to access the TG ICET application form correction window to rectify Category 1 details are as follows:

  • Registration Number
  • Payment Reference ID
  • Qualifying Examination Hall Ticket Number
  • Mobile Number
  • Date of Birth (in DD/MM/YYYY format)

Candidates who do not complete the TG ICET registration on or before the last date for form correction are not permitted to use the TS ICET edit window.

Details to be rectified under Category 2 require candidates to reach out to TGCHE via email for correction. Candidates are not allowed to edit the details under category 3. 

TG ICET Form Correction 2026: Category 1 Details

Candidates are allowed to rectify the category 1 details themselves using the Telangana ICET form correction link. Candidates are not required to upload any supporting documents to get these details rectified. Category 1 details in TS ICET application form are as follows:

  • Identification Marks 1 and 2
  • EWS status and EWS Certificate Number
  • Special Reservation Category (NCC, CAP, Sports & Games, Anglo-Indian)
  • Type of Physically Challenged (PH) status (applicable only if PH is already marked YES)
  • Minority category (Muslim, Christian, Buddhist, Sikh, etc.) and Minority / Non-minority status
  • Annual Income of the parents
  • Educational details, including
    • University of qualifying exam
    • College of qualifying exam
    • Year of Appearing/Passing the qualifying exam
    • Medium of Instruction at qualifying exam
    • Percentage in qualifying exam
    • Major subjects
  • Study details, including
    • Place of study for SSC (or Equivalent)
    • Place of study for Intermediate (or Equivalent), indicating Urban or Rural
  • Address for Correspondence, Email-Id, Alternate Mobile Number, and Landline Number
  • Identity details, such as Aadhaar Card Number and Ration Card Number
  • Scribe requirement and Sadarem Number
  • Sub category and Caste certificate number
  • Candidate bank details
  • Medium of test
  • Status of having a Mathematics Subject at the Intermediate or degree level

TS ICET Form Correction 2026: Category 2 Details

Candidates are not allowed to edit category 2 details themselves using the login dashboard. Category 2 details can be rectified by the TG ICET 2026 convener. Candidates need to send an email to convenertgicet@gmail.com. With the email, candidates need to attach valid supporting documents and a copy of the online application form.

Q:   What is the time for TSICET exam?
A: 

Telangana ICET exam is conducted in multiple shifts divided across two days. One day can have two exam shifts. These two shifts are termed as Forenoon shift (10 AM to 12:30 PM) and Afternoon shift (2:30 PM to 5 PM). TGCHE will allot an exam day and shift based on multiple factors that can include the choice of test city, and timing of the registration.

Q:   What happens if my computer system faces a technical glitch while taking the computer-based test at TSICET exam centre?
A: 
In case of any technical issues with the computer system, candidates must report the issue to the invigilator immediately. Computer systems in an online exam are connected to a server. Whenever the system hands or shuts down, the timer of the online test will stop and will resume when the candidate accesses the login dashboard again. Candidates will be allotted another system to take the TSICET computer-based test. The test will commence from the time where it got stuck. Therefore, candidates will not lose time in case of a technical issue in the system at the test centre. However, there is very less chance of any fault or issue in the system at TSICET exam centre as the systems go through quality checks before the commencement of the exam.
Q:   Who conducts TSICET exam?
A: 

Telagana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) has the responsibility to conduct all the common entrance tests in the Telangana state. TGCHE delegates the conducting authority to different universities while deciding the CET calendar each year. This year, i.e. for 2026, TGICET exam will be convened by Mahatma Gandhi University, Telangana.

Q:   When will TGCHE conduct Telangana ICET exam?
A: 

TGICET dates are released with the exam notification. TGCHE has conducted the TS ICET 2026 exam. TG ICET 2027 exam is expected to be held in the month of May 2027.

TS ICET Form Correction 2026: Category 3 Details

While filling the TG ICET application form, candidates will have to provide some details that can not be modified. These details are categorised under category 3. If a candidate has made a mistake in any of the Category 3 details, the only available solution is to fill and submit a fresh application form. TG ICET application details under category 3 are as follows:

  • Physically Challenged (PH) Status: Changing the status from Yes to No, or No to Yes, for candidates in the OC and BCs categories.
  • Category Changes: Modifying the category from OC/BCs to SC/ST, or vice versa is not allowed.
  • Test Zones: Candidates are required to select preferred test zones during the initial online application. Once chosen, any request for a change of test zone will not be entertained by the authorities.

In case of errors in the TG ICET application form, the admit card will be issued with incorrect information. Candidates having errors in the TG ICET admit card will not be allowed inside the exam hall.

What after TG ICET 2026 Registration?

All candidates who complete the TS ICET application process will be issued the hall ticket to appear for the exam. TG ICET admit card will host several personal and exam-related details based on the information provided by the candidate during the registration. In case a candidate makes an error while filling the TGICET application form, he/she will find the same in the TS ICET hall ticket. Errors in the TS ICET admit card may lead to the disqualification of the candidate during future stages of the admission process.

MGU, Nalgonda has not notified about any change in the issuance date for TSICET hall ticket. Any change in the date for ICET hall ticket download is notified on the official exam website.

The TG ICET admit card is usually released in the first half of the scheduled date. However, TGCHE has not notified any timeline for issuance of hall ticket beforehand. Any updates regarding the TG ICET admit card download link by TGCHE are conveyed on the TG ICET hall ticket webpage by shiksha.
